Just as you won't go to a cardiologist if you have kidney problem that's why you won't to a dentist too!! Everybody have their various jurisdiction and area of speciality!! They are all medical doctors!! A nephrologist practices Renal medicine, a cardiologist is cardiac medicine and a dentist is Dental medicine

Mugu, medical doctor, dentists...wats the difference? They are both under the same Medical and Dental council. U can as well say a surgeon is not a medical doctor.

A dentist graduated with a doctorate degree in a medical field. Same as an optometrist!
