The major case that made the proponent of the accusations laid on Ogbomosho came up on June 12 when it was reported that Doctorisa cheated and caused pain to a fellow nairalander from Lagos who had hired him to oversee his cassava and maize farm.

It’s important you know that as a business man, except those small ones not planning to become and stay big, alliances and networks is key. In a nutshell, business is all about partnership, “promote me I promote you sort of thing.” This is where Doctorisa came into the picture. I specialized in farmland selling while he was into Farm management. He has brought prospective clients to buy land “strictly” from me and in recompense I have recommended him for farm management. The stories and testimonies I heard about him and his expertise were quite inspiring then.

With all sincerity, I know this guy (Doctorisa) very well. A good fella: ambitious and promising, a young man with all the ingredients of a bright future. But somehow he allowed greed to set in and he failed utterly in the process. That I gutted at too. He’s even been to my office to apologize and I couldn’t give him an audience because I felt bad for him beyond the case that brought him, but more about what he suddenly has turned into.

Mistakes are allowed. But those that lead to infliction of pain on others aren’t that tolerated in this world of “ours” so to say. He was so wrong. But the fact is I never knew the nitty-gritty of this deal beyond fulfilling my role as the farmland provider in the whole transaction. I believe whatever I did in the process did not err. The man still has his farmland and he has not said anybody is dragging it with him. So, on my part I am glad I have never had issues with clients concerning farmlands credibility before. I am yet to have one till today after selling thousands of hectares to people of all walks and race.

I don’t think I can have that confidence to slate Doctorisa in the public as I have done since this issue occurred if I had knowledge of the whole process. At least he has come out to speak of my innocence. He would never protect me if we were both involved. For what reason would that be.

In as much as I understand the public (nairalanders) perception of it, I still see no reason why somebody is expecting me to buy a gun and kill Doctorisa, or why the noise and trying to force me to act out of my circle of understanding. The victims can go to any length if they feel it will ease the pain in some ways. That’s no problem for me. I am an ardent believer of the mantra: no sinner shall go unpunished.

How many sinners do we have here? Who will throw the first stone? That person must be someone who has never erred another before and is perfect. I guess Doctorisa is the only sinner and all of us are saints. I mean real saints.

It still baffles me that after I have cleared this issue, some are still massively campaigning against Ogbomosho even when they have never been here and have only relied on a piece of misconstrued information. Please the promoters and their supporters, what is your motive?

See, I have sold more than 1000acres this year alone to my clients all over the world. All this hate campaign has not really affected me. That’s the fact. I still receive calls per day from people all over the world, intelligent people reading the same stuffs on nairaland, who can deftly separate between “fact” and “thrash.”

With all sense of humility, we are bigger than all these campaigns. You should know that wherever something grand is happening, unusual and unnecessary controversies are commonly-found. And who do you think the “Controversy Promoters” will be: Chicken-hearted, panic-gripped, weak-willed, meager-brained, and indolent minds that aren’t really into something serious with their lives and even on this agriculture section.
Those that are serious with one or two projects on their farms don’t comment idly. Rambling! That's the perfect way to describe all this accusation especially from that johnnyessence. I asked him on the other thread to explain how the accused hotmas911 is a fraudster because he claimed he was defrauded and he has not said any meaningful thing in all his writings. All I see here are are some bitter and jealous people trying to bring down a guy. I think I saw where hotmas911 dared anyone to come out and declare how he defrauded them in all his dealings. Till I see a proven evidence of fraud against the guy all these ramblers remain "bad belle"

Hotmas911 has agreed from his post that he knew Doctorisa and his dealings on the farm land and if that is the case, then hotmas shld atleast called on doctorisa and the guy that was defrauded to settle issue btw them and the victim pains will reduce rather than leaving him to his faith.

It’s because the person at the “loss” end called me and asked for my help which I rendered.

Those in the Whatsapp group clamored for my attention and wanted me to comment. I did not. That’s not the matured businessman’s way of handling issues. But now that I settled it, no one is making unnecessary noises again.

From day one i have never said i don't know him. Why would i suddenly claim i forgot knowing someone simply because such ran mad? I know that emotions will never let some people understand well. Why? they know better. They can keep praying for "judgement" and see if God isn't omniscience.

We are into the big business of selling “vast” sizes of farmlands and you would expect partnership and alliances with others where necessary. I uphold building friends and allies than fanning the flames of enmity and hatred.

Fellow Nairalanders, l have come across this Stories about somebody being defrauded in a thread before now in which Hotmas was linked. But he has since cleared his side of the story.
My candid belief is that I still hold Hotmas in high esteem until somebody is able to tie him to a shady deal so to say.
The best thing to do is getting that doctorisa to come and unravel all the allegations being put on Hotmas911. Hotmas already confirmed he did not participate in the deal between the investor farmer & doctorisa & there is no prove that Hotmas911 was involved in the arrangement.
If the story was stated that Hotmas was involved in the management of the farm, then one can allege him.
The victim of this case has every right to locate and get doctorisa to come and defend himself instead of casting a doubt on the integrity of the whole Ogbomosho project and Hotmas911.

Morning guys, we really need to calm down. I am the lady Hotmass gave as an example who was defrauded or scammed of 15 hectares farm management last month. I called Hotmass and other farm managers on Nairaland, and explained to them what happened. He assured me 100% that my full money will be paid back by my farm manager. Well, I didn't believe and others. They gave me all the support which I never expected from them. I am not here to give the name of my farm manager whom I trusted so much but let me down and wasted my time. Also, I'm not interested in posting this on the thread.
The truth here is whenever any nairalander falls a victim, let us open up ASAP. My farm manager was really angry because I reported him to well known farm managers on Nairaland but this really helped me.
Whatsapp forum was created by a friend and invited VIP farm(lol) managers, they all helped me. My money was refunded within 4-5days without delay.
We can't conclude that all farmers in Ogbomosho are fraudsters. I'm just going to give a piece of advice to Hotmass and others, please in God' name, don't let elubo mix with garri. You can never separate them. The case of DrIsa is just like sand and garri which you are affected because you sold the land for him.

i'm not sure if we understand that if the victim took to litigation for a suspected criminal offence all this talk from hotmass might not sway a judge as the burden of proof will be on him to demonstrate that there was no aiding and abetting or motive. Just an opinion

Well, I have read through this and observed that no one has come to challenge Hotmass of any wrong doing meaning that this case is an isolated case that did not involve him directly but someone he knew and probably introduced to the victim. This has happened to quite a no of us, l introduced a furniture guy that did a wonderful job in my house to a friend and he ended up running away with my Friend's money, sincerely that doesn't mean l committed any offence, we have bad people all over places and also some good guys do mess up when you least expect.
What I really expect from the forum is an appeal to Hotmass to track Dr Isa down and see how he can help the Victim recover his money and not this acusation all over the places.
Quite a no of ppl bought land through Hotmas and no one has been out to challenge him.He acted responsibly when l hired his tractor to work on my farm, he opted out cuz of the weather condition and he refunded money paid for the work on time, that to me is a responsible behaviour that is commendable.
On this note, l want well meaning Nairalanders to join me in asking Hotmas to help us track Dr Isa so that the Victim will not loose all his sweat and also to prevent that same Dr Isa from scaming other Nairalanders.

i don't know why you people reasoned like this. A lady here Just corroborated the story of how this hutmas guy helped her get her money back from her farm manager when things went wrong. She said she reported to him. Though he was not there when they were doing the transaction together yet he helped get her money. The difference is she reported to him and there is no account here from the other guy that he reported to him. You guys need to confirm that first, whether the guy reported the case to hutmas. If he didn't take the issue to him how can he help. My verdict is you guys have a hidden agenda against hutmas

Pls confirm if Hotmas911 has ever defrauded you or somebody you know before. You are rather crying on behalf of d bereaved in this case and you don't even let the victim speak for himself all this while. The victim has never in anyway accuse Hotmas of involvement in the case. Hotmas himself confirmed that he was never involved in how they agreed the terms of the farm management.
Johnnyessence, Did you buy or lease land from Hotmas and got duped? If not please stop all these derogatory allegations on d person of Hotmas.
I'm a farmer in Ogbomosho courtesy of Hotmas and there has never been any encumbrance in anyway.
What we expect you to do since you're based in Ogbomosho is to assist in tracing out Doctorisa wherever he may be & get the issue resolved.
I can see you have personal grudge with Hotmas.

he will not have refunded your money if he has any intention of scamming you.
he has built a name and reputation for himself and will not want to destrroy that with some thousands of naira

reading all the comments,some questions begin to come to mind
does it mean that because the accused lease land from him,and the accused did not cultivate the land as expected,does it mean he is an accomplice?
did he collect money for the operational activities suppose to be done on the said farmland from the victim?
its surprising to see some people link him to the scam
i know him as honest,transparent with good personality and will not collude to do such

lots of nairalanders have purchase land from him and there have not been any omo-onile and other related land problems and i will recommend everybody venturing into farming business to purchase farmland from him
