apart from my exam pass,what else do i need to take along with me on the exam day? By the way, my exam is on the 12th,so pls u guyz pray for me as i attempt scoring 100% in the post utme.but most importantly gaining admission into unilag... Besides is it true the highest score in the post utme is given a scholarship?

Each of the base of isosceles triangle is 58° and the vertex of the triangle lie on a circle .determine the angle which the base of the trianglkr substend at d centre of the circle
A 128°
B 116°
C 64°
D 58°


The base angles of isosceles are equal, therefore the third angle is

58+58+x= 180

116+x= 180

x= 180-116

x= 64

Angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circ.

64*2

= 128....... A


(2) A chord of a circle subtend an angle 60° at d centre .if d diameter of d circle is 42cm. calculate the length of major arc
A 22cmsquare
b 44cmsquare
c 220cm square
d 110cmsquare

Major angle = 360-60 (angle at a point)

= 300

L= teta/360 * 2 * pi * r

Since Diameter= 42, radius= 21cm

300/360 * 2 * 22/7 * 21 cm

5/6 * 2 * 22 * 3cm

5*22cm

110cm....... D.


Please note: you answers are in cm2 which means the question should have been to find the AREA.

4......a chord of a circle radius √3cm subtend an angle of 60° on s circumference of the circle ..find d length of the chord

Length of chord= 2rsin(teta/2)

2*_/3 sin 60/2

2* _/3 * sin 30

2 * _/3 * 1/2

= _/3....... D



5....a chord ST of a circle is equal to the radius r of the circle ..find the length of arc ST

c πr/12
d πr/6

Radius=chord,

Therefore, teta= 60 (equilateral angle)

Length of arc= teta/360 * 2 * pi * r

60/360 * 2 * pi * r/2

1/6 * pi * r

If u wanna study education, just try and get 200 in jamb and score something in post jamb, dem go still pick u in most cases for unilag

You need not bring any credentials aside the exam pass and pencil. Concerning the scholarship, nothing like that in unilag for putme but there is for 1st class undergraduates.If there were to be scholarship for highest in putme don't you think it's all these runs peeps that will get it? except unilag will monitor the scores to the extreme length to confirm if the score wasn't upgraded.Just work hard and pray.God is our Hope of Glory.

UNILAG Lists 32,000 Candidates Who Qualify To Write UNILAG Post UTME 2015 Over 32,000 candidates will write the 2015 post- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) into the University of Lagos, according to the institution’s Deputy Registrar (Information), Mr Olagoke Oke. The examination is scheduled to hold from Aug. 12 to Aug. 14. Oke told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday that the figure was close to four times the 9,000 that was initially posted to the institution by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). NAN reports that JAMB in collaboration with some public universities had agreed to raise the bar of the cut-off marks of their institutions from 200 to 250 for the various courses. The development had generated an outrage among candidates, their parents and other stakeholders, who called on Federal Government to intervene. The decision was later reversed after consultations between the Prof. Dibu Ojerinde-led JAMB and the Federal Government. Oke said:“I want to say that all logistics toward a smooth conduct of this examination are fully in place. “We have always been ready for situations like this and have always got it right. . “Before now, we were hoping to put logistics in place for the initial 9,000 candidates, but with the reversal of the decision, we now have to re- adjust and I want to say that we are fully prepared. “All our computers and its accessories, the backups, alternative power supply as well as adequate personnel that will conduct the examination are all ready.’’ The deputy registrar said the university was compelled to extend the exercise to three days because of the large number of candidates seeking admission into the institution. He, however, advised candidates to arrive early at the examination centres for a hitch-free exercise. (NAN)

college of education is most valued in Nigeria when it comes to primary school teachers employment. Jobs in Basic educations are mostly filled by teachers with NCE

Bros no give me that story o. who now says there is no early childhood education in universities. With 180, you will stroll into most universities faculty of education. Even unilag after admission will always have spare space in almost all dept in faculty of education.
If anybody wan study education, make e at least get 180 for jamb and stroll into faculty of education of universities in 9ja except, unilag, great ife and Greatest UI.
