@all, now i discovered that all the satellite receiver that has .bin file as its software file format is not compatible with channels under TP 11.138 V 30.000 on amos 5, startv package, some decoder may be having problem the audio while some will be having problem with the video, except all the receiver that its software is in .stb file format, i have tried it on different model of powersat receiver, i have also tried it on srt 4950 and srt 4329 all have different issues,
NOW i rank srt 4922A as the chief of all the decoders, if u disagree with me quote me.

Yes,and even folks are complaining of an awful interface on 4950-pvu,that of 4922a is just too sweet.

You are right brother, even the Regional Sales Manager of Strong Technologies - Dr Emile Hanna confirmed this at a forum in East Africa recently, he said though SRT 4922 series came earlier before Srt 4950, it has a slight edge over 4950 series.

Waooh, I finally gat Intelsat 20c at 68.5, such a sweet savour. Easiest way around is attached a Ku lnb, track Intelsat 20ku remove the lnb, attached the c band and you will surely hit green

you can access the Power Vu key on SECA menu. There are a whole lot of them there. I will post the picture in the night, I'm away from home now.

the picture quality of the receiver is good but the present user interface look like the old Strong receiver (SRT4650). The user interface from the previous patch look awesome. SRT 4950 series are nice receivers but the problem is that most of the users are not conversant with the receiver.

..there is no perfect receiver...but can SRT 4922a work on Hbb TV/ hybrid broadcast broadband TV? NO...that is normal satellite TV broadcast SD/HD combined with broadband satellite TV with Ethernet connection like sentech Hbb TV on Intelsat 20@68.5east..(12682H30000)that is click on the channel let SRT 4922a work on the channel as IPTV and in same normal satellite broadcast, using the same satellite frequency 12682H30000....that is satellite decoder/receiver or STB needs to be connected to the internet.. that will be a though assignment for SRT 4922A..I disagree with you.

my reciever is running on V3.32P software but if i try to downgrade it will tell me software too old, what is the solution.

you can downgrade your SRT 4950 with out first bricking it. I will post the picture here tonight.

I love the explanation you made here. Majority in this forum thinks that SRT 4922 series are the best receiver in the market.

I got it the same way but my srt 4950h is not opening the Pvu channels. What is wrong? Is 4922a opening all of them with key.

Can these leaves affect signal strength? My 1.8m on Eutel 16A could only offer 68% quality and MyTV cracks badly. I'm in FCT and d lnbf is Strong C&Ku band combined. House pls

Sshhhh... Can't you correct his mistake without insult?

I cannot get Sony package on Intelsat 20C, the highest signal I got was 68%, I have twicked the lnb as much as I could but Sony no show. Others are showing, HBO, CNN, WUTN, NHk etc.
