I beg to differ, Ibadan is a very lovely place. uploading pictures of a small section of the ancient city on social media won't change this fact.

Ibadan supporters club chairperson.

But really, you ought to know better than argue with tribal bigots. They can't say anything good about other tribes even if it's so obvious that it punches them in the face.

Here will be my recommendation on this water logs on the street:

- Deeper drainage systems should be constructed through out the streets and linked together.
- The streets should be tarred. One thing Sullivan did well in Enugu was taking care of the street. Onitsha have many tall beautiful buildings, but the roads in the streets are something else. Even the Landlords Association (which is very powerful) can afford to fix their ends.
- Places in low topography should have a form of pumping system or a collector from the drainage system.

All the same I commend the Governor on his effort on Security.

In Enugu there are equally many flooded streets like everywhere in Nigeria including Abuja and Lagos. It is only to score political points that emphasis is layed on some places. That has been my argument from the start. Does this mean Obiano is not trying his best? The answer is negative. Switch this to Imo State and watch the usual fools blame Okorocha and claim there is no flood, bad road or refuse dump in there worse State.

B.astard you will always bring your madness to bear on every matter. This flood is a child's play compare to the ones in owerri and imo state at large which has some of the worst roads in the SE of which I have the pictures to prove my point.

How many people have died from flooding and erosion in Imo State? Like I wrote, every State has their own share of natural disaster and dirty neighbourhood. However Onitsha is probably the worst in Southeast.

Owerri has the worst flood crisis due to its table land nature. The fact is that you think you can deceive anybody but not me. LOL

I pass through owerri twice every month so I am well informed that the flood in owerri is the worst in the SE, equally occasioned by bad roads and indiscriminate refuse dump in the prostitutes infested town.

Let even get the pictures LOL

Don't see how this is directly the Government's fault.

From what i see, there are drainage on both sides of the road. But, the problem here is the housing. The houses are not well planned, and are blocking the drainage route.

Unless most of this buildings, are demolished to make way for the water to go through, then this will be a permanent problem. If the houses are demolished, there will be cries against the Government.

[s]I look forward to the day this Governor will cross over to APC, he has APC Qualities.[/s]

You were making sense until you spewed the last sentence i struck out!

What qualities of APC does he have? Is it qualities of Ogbeni that could not pay salaries for 8 months?...Obiano increased Salaries of civil servants 15% higher

Or Qualities of Oshiomhole who claimed that a minister under GEJ laundered $90b dollars which the United State said was a blatant lie?...My Governor does not lie

Or Qualities of Fashola that paid N75m for ordinary website that is not worth more than 60k?

Abeg, talk better thing next time bro

Obiano remains in APGA until CHICKEN becomes EXTINCT!
