While discussing the more than 78 million naira spent for maintenance on the former Governor Fashola’s personal website, Mr. Stanley Achonu, the Operations Lead for BudgIT Nigeria, told SaharaTV that more than 1.18 billion naira was spent on only six pedestrian bridges in Lagos.

Mr. Achonu revealed during the interview that the outrageous 1.18 billion naira was spent for the pedestrian bridges on Lekki Expressway and added “by Monday our team members will need to see if they are constructing those bridges.”

He added that, “I’m assuming as of now, that money has already been spent.”


The BudgIT team also learned this past week that in 2014 more than “330 million naira [was] spent for work on the house of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State.”

When asked whether BudgIT received explanation from the Lagos State government about this monumental waste, Mr. Achonu said “they don’t owe us any explanation…We don’t want to be contacted. They should contact the Lagosians whose money they used.”

BudgIT is an independent organization which reviews and evaluates Federal and State budgets in Nigeria. They also review the procurement and commissioning of projects in Nigeria to enhance transparency and report on corruption.

Ibos are trying to scuttle Fashola's chance of being the SFG so their son Onu can have a smooth sailing, and then turn around and say "Yoruba didn't get any position in Buhari's govt upon all their efforts oo" Tell me, who does these if they weren't nursed with hatreds from infancy and breastfed by the devil himself with satanic venom as tattoo ink chiseled deep in their cold hearts? and to what end? My Yoruba can't see any of this until it's too late. My people no longer have foresight.

Check out how many posts these town criers create daily to either demand for something from the Fg or governments in Yoruba region, no demand ever put on govts in their region, never. Everything is warfare to them. As far as they are concerned, they feel they are already in full blown war with the Yoruba, and everything is a weapon to them. Lying to themselves that they are better than a people they can't surpass in another 100 years is one, these people have lied so much that you wonder if they even know what truth is. It really is a tragedy, What a wasted lineage!

The yoruba kingdom lost foresight sight since 1958. They have only rode on BETRAYAL which flows in their blood ever since to attain the acclaimed political heights.

Because the yoruba's has lost foresight like you rightly said,they can't even see the poisonous blood of betrayal within their veins. They can't even see they wickedly feeding each other with the same poisonous substance.
