yesterday my str 4950 opened some of the channels on 68.5 C,but later stoped ,i dont know what happened untill i download this new software,i had to take my dish up my steers befor i was able to track it

from my steers to were i live is around 20-30 yards will it affect the signal ?

Good morning to d whole house.i swap my 4669xii to receive 4922a frm my friend yesterday.but i need to upgrade it to d latest software to open those channels locked under power vu key on IS20c.pls i need detail help on how to do it.or directive where to go i stay in fha lugbe abuja.

@faithchild. 2.4m STRONG pan dish = 31k - 35k depending on location.SRT 4930 latest update (patch) does not support PVu.

@blexxo thanks i knew d price would have gone up dis our country.d last time i checked it was 26k in akure.its about 4months ago.anyway. as for 4930 there is a sw dat support power VU i upgraded my a while back to 1.69 if im not mistaken.pls i think they hqve removed it from crosat.it came out d same.time 4922 was released.so i upgraded for d sake of not being left.behind.and it paid off.cos i checked crosat and its not there.i dont know where my memory card is cos i normally use card reader to upgrade.i will show u snap shot when im back from work.have a good morning to u all evrybody

I cannot get Sony package on Intelsat 20C, the highest signal I got was 68%, I have twicked the lnb as much as I could but Sony no show. Others are showing, HBO, CNN, WUTN, NHk etc.

@agkilis. You cannot have both (68.5E/76.5) on a single lnb.

WARNING:You need a stable electric power supply,preferably generator,to upgrade your decoder firmware.

Go to: Strong 4 Middle East-Crosat.

Download this file: SRT 4920_4922_4922A_184p_150810.zip.

The file is in zip format and therefore you need to use WINRAR or 7ZIP,etc to extract (or unzip) it after which you will now have a file with .stb file extension.

Copy the unzipped (i.e. the .stb) file into virus-free usb flash drive.

Attach the usb flash drive to your decoder.

Press MENU->External Device->Upgrade by USB.

Select the folder and press OK.

After successful upgrade the receiver reboots on its own.

Your statement is not true. I have SRT 4930 with SW version 172p and it opens all PV channels on on IS 20/Apstar 7 with keys
inserted. Furthermore it also opens bwtv on NSS 12 at 57east directly at my home in Nairobi, Kenya. I am currently based in Liberia
wth UN.

can SRT 4330 work cos I use it for TV3 Ghana and irib

This is the reason why I asked faithchild the last time he updated his receiver which he never answered. 172p patch was released on 6th of August which I believed that it got Power Vu keys.

Can i still enjoy them with a qsat 28g decoder? also which cband lnb is best to track IS20 using 1.8m dish.
