Adenubi wasn't a thief and she never stole that passport. She's only spent a year in the UK and couldnt have possibly knew all the steps and processes in obtaining those benefits and passport.

I believed she was given the passport by those people she lived with, and when things got out of hand, she was told to lie against herself to have stolen that identity. She did so to save the a.s.s of her benefactors. Her benefactors knew they would go to jail and possibly lose their citizenship if Adenubi never lied against herself.

And before any one start bashing Adenubi, if you have a friend or family in the UK whom you knew travelled with a tourist visa and overstayed, they probably did the same thing that Adenubi did.

This is no news and not surprising at all. UK is now the most difficult place to live now. Any one would have done the same thing, though I admonish people not to get involve in any fraudulent activity.

They always have the same first name and lastname and most times, look-alike too. I'ts either they are Khan, Sigh or Mohammed.

My neighbour a britiko, his wife left him because he refused to relocate. That was when we all understood why she married him.

I don't understand how she was able to get away with it. Surely, if the baby acquired British citizenship fraudulently, the Home Office should be able to simply cancel the citizenship and deport both of them. There are people who are extremely gifted in the art of playing the system and getting away with it, and this is the reason why they make it hard for legitimate people to access this benefits.

You are right. In as much as what she did was fraudulent, some things doesn't add up about the story.

6months Visa expired while in UK, she was in detention for 8months,released and still remain in UK which is very rare. Did she came to UK with the pregnancy from Nigeria or was impregnated in UK? By who?

And for the couples, money must have exchanged hands no doubt. They couldn't have done it for free

I doubt if she will be punished because of her baby but on the other hand, the baby's
citizenship was fraudulently obtained.

Besides, I see nothing in UK, It's just a glorified and expensive Country to live. Her Case is complicated

It's because the system works well unlike Naija. They looted it dry. If Naija starts getting it right, we will see drop in frauds and the desperation of being a britiko will reduce drastically.
