Error no 1 - Dan Brown claimed Leonardo Da Vinci painted Mary Magdalene sitting next to Jesus Christ in his 'last supper' work.

One of Dan Brown's proofs is that John looks so feminine, but John is often portrayed in such a way in art because he was young.

First of, it is an open secret that Da Vinci was a bisexual. Not surprising 'cause he resided in Florence - the "City of Sin".

Have you seen the Monalisa? We both know the homosexual pranks he played with it.

Go to any cathedral and look at the stained-glass images of John. Just as you can identify Peter because he is holding keys, and you can tell Andrew because he is holding a Cross like an X (the kind on which He was crucified), so you can tell John by his feminine looks. But suppose it were the case that Leonardo intentionally painted Mary Magdalene next to Jesus instead of John, because Jesus and Mary were allegedly married, and Leonardo was in on the secret, then where is the "beloved disciple" John? He is not in the picture. Where is he? Under the table?
grin
[/i][/b]

Do you also realize that the Mary in the picture wore men's cloth yet she was a woman?

Da Vinci portrayed the his bisexual inclinations by portraying John and Mary as fused in one just like he did with the Monalisa painting which is a man in a woman's body.

Have you heard of the Janus society in that century where women lived as men and bisexuality was the norm?

Brown claimed that that Galileo was a member of the Illuminati. Galileo actually died in 1642: the Illuminati, a society dedicated to free thinking and the Enlightenment, were formed in Bavaria in 1776, same year America was created.

The Swiss Guard, traditional defenders of the Vatican, are said to be "rumored to have decapitated countless Muslims while defending the Christian crusaders in the fifteenth century" with their longswords. The Guard were founded in 1506. The seventh and final Crusade took place in 1270.

dan Brown claimed that the Christian tradition of communion, eating the body of their god, comes from the Aztecs. Communion has taken place since the first century; the Aztec civilisation arose during the 13th century. Europeans did not reach central America, where the Aztecs lived, until the late 15th century.

It wasn't Dan Brown that claimed it, he only put it into writing and made it a story. Da Vinci was a prankster . he usually did business with the Church I.e paintings
,and he used that as an avenue to mock the church with obscure puns and hidden innuendos in his paintings. e.g Madonna of the rocks

the church found out about his antics and had them rectified by altering some of the paintings.

no religious Jewish man had red hair during the time of Christ. only females, especially prostitutes.
so the person Da Vinci depicted in the Last supper painting was Mary Magdalene not John..she even had hints of of a bosom and even donned the same colour of garment that Jesus wore.

when da Vinci paints androgynous-looking men It's usually like the 'the Monalisa' or ' the Baptist'..but he deliberately painted a woman in the last supper.

Taah, the supposed Prank played by Da Vinci with the Monalisa painting is nothing but a myth. You lot just see it as a Prank because that is what you want to see and not necessarily what it really is. The main reason that painting is still a mystery to everyone is because of the weird and funny smirk on the lady in the painting's face. Nothing else! angry

Moreover, there is no evidence anywhere to validate your claim that Da Vinci was really bisexual back then, if you ask me, I would day it is nothing but a myth. most of these stuffs are from Telegraph - composed by humans like you & I, which means they aren't entirely correct . or what makes you think the person who wrote them is 100% correct?
not everything in history books is
plausible

the Illuminati could have been in existence since 200B.C but historical books may say otherwise but that doesn't make it true, does it?
how is it even possible to state the exact date a 'secret society' was created? that's totally impossible ..It's called a secret society for a reason.

& most of what you highlighted are not errors but exaggerated truths. Dan Brown is too educated & Renaissance to have been that careless- most of the errors were deliberate
anybody can easily Google these dates & write a book on it... which means Dan Brown made the errors purposely - he created his own universe.

besides, he clearly stated that the book is a work of fiction - which means you are permitted to lie.
In Dan brown's case he twists the truth & makes it a believable lie.

Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol opens with a bold word: FACT. "All rituals, science, artwork, and monuments in this novel are real", it says.

The Da Vinci Code, his previous bestseller, began in a similar fashion. "All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals in this novel are accurate"

Looks like Dan Brown doesn't share similar sentiment with you. tongue

so you haven't heard people speculating that Da Vinci painted himself in the Mona Lisa?

he was said to be a very handsome man & possibly homosexual- & that could be the reason for the feminine features.

what you cats don't understand is that Da Vinci doesn't make mistakes or does anything plain or unintentionally ..everything has a secret & hidden meaning meant for anyone with a keen mind to decipher - like a double entendre. he's a genius

.

all what you listed in your previous posts were disclaiming - 'Da Vinci Code' & 'Angels & demons' which were fictional novels .

but now you are talking of 'lost symbols'-which means you have to list out erroneous historical information from 'Lost symbols' like you did with his other books.

Check the link. He was charged for SODOMY and he wrote pages about his affection for his "beautiful" male apprentice.
He hated anything that would lead to procreation but he loved sex. Only women can get pregnant and there were no contraceptives then.

His description of the architecture, artwork and rituals have never been questioned. He weaves his stories around them.

Did you know Dan Brown spent two months in Turkey to study the architectural descriptions in his book 'Inferno'?

Provide links disproving his descriptions.
