Its good to get a job with dangote if u are not doing anything but I assure u, complains start as soon as u get into dangote. I pray refinery be different. Don't be discouraged.

I did a supervised IT in the sugar refinery (Jan-Jun '05). It was much worse than complains as it pervaded the whole place. I thought things would have improved y'kno, with their going public n all.

That is how all this companies keep downgrading our Nigerian Universities here by saying 'preferably a US university graduate'.

to the nigga up there from gh...when the least Nigerian graduate is employed u can then start applying.

You don't wait until the refinery is completed before you start looking for personnel to run it. You make sure you have engineers who will be involved in the design and construction of the refinery, that way they know the plant and will be able to operate it better.

The engineer will operate and manage the plants so they need to be trained first. The others will be recruited when the plant is ready for operation. The support services staff that are required now are limited.

May be thats their style, i did mine with uthman Danfodio as a full time wk end student.but if u aint afraid of th north, would love to advice u to go up there for a 2nd degree.its friendly,its relatively cheap sir.most of this hard rules in d south are made simple and fair up north.try it, u wont regret it.my Msc is in Industrial mathematics.

please oh, masters in what do u have, coz I am planning to run a masters programme in UniUyo, I wanted MBA full time but they say they only run MBA on part time (executive). That full time is Msc Business Management. But with the part time MBA I can't run a Phd programme, I can only further with Phd with the Msc full time. Am so confused.

What an irony, so a petroleum and gas engineering is not among the list... And they said it a recruitment for a refinery... So what's the point studying about hydrocarbon and there derivatives in the University if I can't fit in dangote refinery recruitment
