Hi
Back here after taking rest.want to share my conclusion based on my experience
1)tell the truth and be prepared all docs as much as u can
2)use wheelchair service,it will really help u alot to save energy , save time and will keep u calm as they exactly know where to take you and you will get vip treatment everywhere.
3)use compression stockings so it will keep your circulation good , drink lots of fluids and do frequent walks.
4)hold the cash as much as you can.i had 15000$ so there attention is diverted towards it although they didn't count my cash.
5)jfk is a friendly poe so use it if you can
6)your fit to fly should be recent ,containing ur weeks of pregnancy, edd, pregnancy going well and especially FIT TO FLY written over it,signed and stamped by Dr on hospital letter pad.
My proof of burdon list(although nothing was checked)
1)My hubby company letter stating his salary and designation
2)his bank statement
3)my hubby and son valid visa and passport biopage
4)my hubby previous visas to different countries like Europe, dubai,Malaysia,Thailand etc
5)hospital and dr correspondence
6)hotel reservation

To the Glory of God and in Spirit of giving back to this awesome forum,we were given visa today at the Lagos embassy, our interview was scheduled for 7am.

I had followed this thread since last year August and have noted every details,i read the thread @ least four times a week to keep up with new post.

VO: Good morning

USsadme,2year old Daughter and husby) Good morning sir, with a cranky smile after baby had stressed me out,she wasn't allowing her father carry her @ all

VO: Ma'am,are you pregnant and are you going to America for child birth?

me: Yes,i am

VO: Can I have your correspondence to that effect?

me:  handing him over email correspondence from WHMC,DR La,letter of appointment from Dr La,payment receipt of 1500 to dr la,letter from WHMC and receipt of 2100 paid already to WHMC.

VO: he looks at it critically and asked how I came about the choice of my doctor and what my doctor's name is. In between he asked where I gave birth to my daughter and I told him, Nigeria

Me: I told him He came in highly recommended by my friend,he asked for my friend's name and he confirmed the name from his system and asked if her middle name was Motunrayo

VO: Do u have family and friends in the US?Yes we do

VO: And where do you work?told him,he asked Husby too,he told him

in between: my daughter was still cranky all along  and I was really really tensed and the VO kept wondering why my surname is different from my husband and daughter .He asked when we got married and we said 2012,he pointed out that m passport was renewed in 2015,so why didn't I change to my husby's surname,I told him It was stressful for me going to Abj.He said it's ok,he just wanted to understand why.

VO: Alright, im gonna issue u a Visa, but make sure u pay all ur bills for ease of renewal and make sure you do not access any public funds. and he smiled brightly and told us congratulations.

US: thank you and husband packed all documents displayed.

Thank God for everything, and thank you all

Congrats dear! Shows the importance of being honest. If you had lied about your friend and they didn't have her name in the system it would have been another story....

quote author=mummymom post=36860335]Hi every1
I am a newbie here and have learnt alot from this forum. Thanks every1 for your contribution.now it's time for me to give something back to this forum.i got last year my B1/B2 visa for vacation with my son and hubby which was utilized well. Then after coming to this forum we decided to have our baby in usa.after I got pregnant I sent my intension email to usa embassy and got the reply that I can travel. I am one of those who booked appointment with mihs b4. I prepared all my burdon of proofs and in the name of God travel to USA at 32 weeks this Sunday via american airlines. My 1st stop was Heathrow for 2 hrs.i requested wheelchair service which helped me alot to save time and energy and got priority treatment everywhere. My port of entry was jfk which was too crowded but again due to wheel chair service I passed all of them and wheeled directly to CBP officer who was a black guy.
Here is our conversation
Me: hello
CBP officer:.....give me ur passport.
Me:ok
CBP officer: purpose of your travel?
Me:to seek medical treatment for childbirth, vacation and shopping
CBP officer:so you are pregnant
Me:yes
CBP officer:how far have you gone
Me:32 weeks
CBP officer:so you are going to deliver your baby here
Me:yes
CBP officer:who is sponsoring you?
Me:My hubby.I gave him my husband company letter stating his designation and salary, his bank account statement, also told him that I declared my money above 10000$.
CBP officer : how long you are staying
Me:11wks
CBP officer : your husband will join you
Me:yes before delivery as he is a busy man so can't come for a long time.
CBP officer : how long did you stayed b4
Me:15 days
Stamped me in for 6 months and sent me to fill declaration form.no bags were checked,no secondary inspection.connected to the next flight which was after 2 n half hr of my arrival in jfk.reached phoenix, bought maternity package, now waiting for my dr appointment which is on Monday.
Good luck every1 and lots of prayers for every1.
Just 1 request to keep helping each other to achieve our dreams together and never think that u hv struggled alot to get info so other should also do the same.Every1 has their own capabilities and anyways God is always going to reward you in many other ways
With love

Wow! Congrats Hawttattoo. Also looking at using HNWC early next year.Read a lot of Good news about them.
Hawttattoo:
My Edd was on the 2nd of August based on scan did at 9 weeks. I don't know which kpekus nailed it (according to Nef) as I wasn't even sure of my LMC.
After 2nd August,I was scheduled for induction on the 7th but i called and cancelled it a day before 7th seriously kabashing and building up my faith that labour will come before then. As I had my other kids without inducing and on time.
I started having mild contraction on the 7th, got to the hospital on the early hours of 8th. The labour was not progressing and induction was the only option since I was already 41 weeks.
I declined epidural initially...but I had to literally begged for it when the pains became unbearable but still I wasn't given one cos my palette was low according to them
But in all.. I muscled it out as a true daughter of Zion bringing forth a 9.8lb baby boy... Phewww

My rating for HNWC will be 4.5****. Their nurses are nice and friendly. Clean rooms, nice food but poor in freebies
My baby was given only 15 diapers,1 small size wipe,8 Similac, thermometer ,pacifier
I was given rubber basin... Sit bath grin
I complained to my dr Glenn about the $1k pediatrician fee and I got a called from him yesterday that he has spoken to the CEO .... So hopefully something will be done about it. Yet to get my bills but will relate it once it's sorted

Forgive my long post...

Yo! Yo! ! Yo! !!
So time for me to add value.
Arrived dallas with my fam 1st Aug 2015.
POE story : refer to previous post.

Now onto meds. ..
Went to doctors hospital for first appointment...
Pls note that I already had a scheduled appointment with dennis abbas MD. However I had correspondence with esedebe m. MD.
So I tut to visit esedebe first buh meehn is that doc a rare one. ... see how me, wifey and even terese69 were using torch light to look for this oga in dallas to no avail.
Called a and called and called. .mbah no answer no call back .

That's how we jejely went to abbas office b4 water go pass garri. .

Fast fwd to abbas' office. ...after waiting our turn. ... consultation ongoing and na so the doc drop bomb say mbah he no go buy our market unless wifey opts for CS because she's had CS for our first child ( even though 2nd child was a normal delivery) that he does not do VBAC plus doctors hospital at dallas is not an efficient facility to practice (state law).

That was how I went back to square 1 of searching for doctors n hospital (vbac friendly) again overnight.
Luckily I got some and immediately we got hunting and scouting the city of dallas tackling the doc's n hospital down one after the other. (Lucky for car rental else taxi wudda drained pocket).
After rejection from various hospitals for reasons ranging from late registration, over booking et al we finally got accepted at METHODIST HOSPITAL RICHARDSON and immediately made payments (ob/gyn $2,500 & hospital $4,500) normal delivery ...mk dem no come change mind again.

So wifey has had her first appointment with doc..or registered at the clinic and had her lab works done. .. (they accepted the ones we brought from najia n just did a few that were not there).

Happy me familia are resting n vacationing in dallas while I'm currently punching my keyboard from DFW it'll headed back home. .I had to change my ticket from spending an initial 5 days at the state to 10 days due to the complications and ensure all is well b4 I depart top return and participate in the arrival of my lil one.

cc #terese69 u guys keep the town rocking pending my return. ..
Peace out. .
That's my contributete!!.

pm me for further details. ..adverts are not allowed. ..
