Go to strong technologies website and download the original software.. eg. software version 3.16p or 3.09p for 4950h, then rename the whole software rom. bin. Put this renamed software only on a clean flash drive insert it into the port behind the receiver make sure the receiver is off entirely then with the flash drive inserted, press and hold the menu or power knob in front of the receiver as you power on the receiver from behind..... Wait as the receiver loads the software... My whatsapp. 233502282604

Hello friends, i was able to hit aljazeera t.p on IS20 @ 77-78% but couldn't get the sony package. I'm tracking with strong mpeg 4 model kindly help.

With that percentage you should hit green. just make sure the 0 counter on the lnb points at 12 clock and push the lnb inside.

Please is intelsat 62E receivable in W Africa? What dish size? Someone said Irib with biss is on that sat. Thanks.

Thanks talenty, i'll try that but i'm a bit skeptical about the decoder i'm tracking with maybe the sony package FEC of 5/6 could be the reason. Maybe i should just use the 4922a directly to see if it will turn green. God bless!

It took me 2 days to get Sony, my Aljazeera was 81% while Sony was 58%. I discovered that my 1.8m had some bent curves on the edges. I just strengthened it and Sony rose to 62% and became stable. You can use 4922, it is the best so far.

easiest way out is to narrow the angle somewhere close to 47.5east I.e to be closed to -19.5° to 28east multi tv and +21° to 68.5..c band! from 47.5east ...(47.5east centre)where C band lnb above 47.5east and Ku band lnb 28east multi tv below 47.5east..if at all you will hit both sats with 1.8m!

@ainanimi, the easiest way to do it is to put ku band lnb on your dish, when u are on dstv position, pull the elevation down completely, turn your lnb to 9 o clock, put this TP 12.682 h 26.657, then turn ur dish to the left if u are standing at the back of the dish, when u hit green, try to rotate the lnb to get the maximum signal quality, after that remove the ku band lnb and replace it with c band lnb, then put sony package TP, watch the signal quality and rotate the lnb the get the maximum signal quality.
