The submission of credentials is still on going as at today

But the officials says it will end soon

I guess this month.

As u know, i dont make research or ask questions from ordinary people but from people in authority dt can give official information.

Based on my conversation wit those people in OAU senate building, ur chances of gaining admission depends on number of candidates applying for ur proposed course.. For example if 500 people are applyin for ur course where 10 people are only needed, it means ones must fire in more prayer... Do u understand?

Besides, OAU wil only admit few people for a certain course via direct entry. E.g 10 to 20 people for a course via DE, not up to dt but let use dt figure..

Dt is why u have to distinct urself from others by having first class/ distinction in ur transcript, note dt d first class does not quarantee u admission wen OAU stil have numerous of such applicants wit such grade applyin for dt course where only 5 people wil be choosen..

Second class upper/Upper credit is also a good grade but majority are wit such grade making it too competitive when someone is applyin wit second class upper/upper credit.... There is a need for everyone to trust God

Since screening exam is a new thing in OAU,no info yet. They would need to 'sit' first before deciding. Overall performances to departments and no of candidates that applied for a particular course,slots available etc would be considered. Info available now is just speculations. Some say they would multiply our results by 4,then it would be over 400

Ofcourse, admission process started immediately after the release of the result. If you have not submitted your transcript, try to submit as soon as possible. Remember! No transcript at the right time, no admission. If you have, try to do follow-up as much as you can. Don't just your documents there and turn your back. They may get missing or something may come up in the process. If you are qualified, try to know what's going on with your documents at each stage.

The list may still take over a month, because after when the documents might have been compiled at the Admission Unit, they will, afterwards, be forwarded to various faculties. After this, the qualified names will now be sent to Jamb headquarters at Abuja. Please and please, if you exceptionally satisfy all requirements for admission, try to trace your documents down and make sure your names are part of the ones forwarded to Jamb headquarters. Mistake or anything could occur in the process. Most importantly, always remember your God, the One of infinite mercy. May God help us all.

They will not particularly request for the Notification of Result. Three documents are to be submitted there - DE print out, Not. of Result and O' Level (if in one sitting)
Try, if possible, to get it there. It counts.

I think the question in which most of d direct entry students are currently asking is d cut off for d DE result. Am i right?
I was told from senate buildin OAU dt they are stil contemplating whether to use d cut off mark on their mind or not....
I wil tel u d cut off which OAU is stil contemplating to use for direct entry students but to you wat do u think d cut off mark should be?

If I were to suggest cut off marks, which could be unreal. I would suggest we check the last five years cut off marks for each dept, after multiplying your score by 4. As for Accounting course, which I applied for, it has been within the range of 240-255. We are all sure that even if the cut off marks were released today, LAW would have the highest, followed by MEDICINE. I stand to be corrected.
