No courage involved. Truth gotta be told.

It's good to appreciate the advise you've received from some folks here so far. Yet I personally feel that they're still sugar-coating bitter truth in a bid to encourage you. NOBODY WILL ENCOURAGE YOU AS MUCH AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL CONVICTION, SUFFERING, LOSSES, SWEAT, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND TEARS, AMONGST OTHERS.

Now, unless your resort to divinity will grant you supernatural discernment to shortcut the years upon years required to even scratch a tip of the forex iceberg, dude, please be ready to endure at least 3 - 5 years of heartbreak (and when I say heartbreak I mean when you can literally see your heartbeat pumping outta your chest as your losses inevitably accumulate). You will see your hard-earned dollar running losses while you hold on and stare and hope it will turn to profit after some time. You will feel a hard lump in your throat and you will swallow that lump time and again.
thanks 4 d bitter truth

Theyjih:

i see it as a retracement from the recent move from 2.08 -2.15 ..it actually stopped around 61.8 fib retracement.. currently buying at 2.1236 with my Sl @ 2.10***** with Tp open towards 2.18 .. due diligence can not be overemphasized.. the yuan devaluation also plays a key role in this movement .
Statistically speaking it has less than 30 percent chances of making new high today or this week , why?
because
- its currently trading 20% more than its average weekly range already.(although everything is possible).
- Nonetheless, making a new high is much of a big deal or requires a greater driving force than making a new low i.e below lastweek low
- sellers would like to maximum profit.

Its currently stoped on my 4Hr 50 EMA low price setting, a move below this EMA means it will try pushing lower till fridays close.
Meanwhile i wait till close of current or second 4Hr candle before make decision to close my sell position to buy the retracement from 50EMA or resell breakout style if its trades below 50EMA.
the recent upward move which started on monday open took off from 200 EMA, i think its possible it goes down further to 4hr 365 EMA before finally going up(if it intends to go up)
But i still think 2.18 is possible this month

Just my raw mechanical analysis undecided undecided

Most Africa (Nigerian) traders trade below 500 dollars
The major problem is therefore not the trading strategy, but funding
I know a guy that works with elf, but loves forex trading
His account is about 50,000 dollars, just tell me how that guy can ever get margin call

If one knows what he is doing, he could achieve a lot with $500 . ..any ammount of money deposited with your broker is at risk. .in different ways.
If you can't do much with $500, then $50k at your trading disposal might just slowly get depleted...

Afterall the $500 trades with 0.01 while the $50K guy probably trades with 10.. at the end of tbe day they are both equivalent based on scaled lot sizes.
I think its when you have a sound strategy trading with a $500 account you can then consider a fat trading account..

Hi, thanks 4 ur response. But I always hear pple say supply and demand is much more dan rally Base drop n drop base rally. Is dere ny oda tin u look for apart from dese n if no, how do u pick ur Base I mean what do u look out for in considering a base to b valid? Thanks
Capitals:

I look out for certain patterns, rally - base - drop is a typical supply level for me, opposite for demand levels. Books/materials? I guess you are referring to some that may have helped me in my journey, yeah I got some but just technical analysis book. but honestly I only learn from them based on the specific areas I was trying to master per time. I can't take the all the authors say cos there is always a context an it gets confusing out of context. Its hard trying to put it in writing.

I don't understand the bolded. Hope it makes small sense

Its really that simply to me (people enjoy complicating simple things guess it makes them look sophisticated) but just like indicator signals you could loose out if you attempt to take all supply levels as an opportunity to sell and same for buy, at least that's what I have learnt and find working in my business. There are a few things to look out for which varies for different people, and which makes one level more likely to hold than another. cant possibly outline all of it (I m not that patient as each one has a WHY am looking out for it, which I think is more important and gives it a context) One of the most important for me is PROFIT MARGIN, some of the reason I look out for this is because,
the bigger the profit margin, the higher the probability that my trade will work out and I see fx as a game of probabilities so anything affecting this is important to me. Also I realize I won't always have winners so I love scenarios where one win ld require 4,5 and more losses to take back and 4,5 outright losses take a long time to happen for me. Every one has something they believe in, for me its the bible. It says even Christ did what he did for the Joy (reward, profit margin) that was set before Him. So if risk reward is not such as gives me joy, I usually am not interested. There are more but cant put all in writing, its tiring. . .

Why not give me a hint of what you are doing and why you feel its not working lets see if we can share ideas as to how it can be optimized. you really cant trade exactly like someone else, but can optimize whatever you re doing for profits. Hope this makes sense

But how many traders with $500 are willing to trade 0.01 lot, rather they trade higher lots and multiple trade

I guess this weeks low happens to be the low for the month as well.
