Yes!! Jose Mourinho can be one of the best manager in the world but he is liable to making Mistake also… Here is a list of 10 Players Mourinho has destroyed. See list below:- 10. Hamit Altintop Back on May 2011, Real Madrid announced that they had reached a deal for the transfer of the Turkish midfielder Hamit Altintop for £4.5 million. He made his debut for the club on September 2011 in a match against Ajax, but as a substitute. He didn’t start as a regular until January 2012, with Jose Mourinho refusing to give him more playing minutes. Hamit Altintop spent most of the season sitting on the bench. 9. Mohamed Salah The Egyptian international was snapped up by the blues in January 2014, after beating the competition for Premier League rivals Liverpool. Mohammed Salah caught the eye of Jose Mourinho after beating Chelsea almost single-handedly while playing for Basel. The Portuguese manager didn’t take this lightly and as revenge, he benched Salah for most of the remaining season. Meanwhile, the Egyptian ace is flourishing at Fiorentina. 8. Juan Cuadrado When the Colombian ace joined Chelsea during the January transfer window for a reported £26 million, everyone thought that the duo Cuadrado-Hazard would wreck havoc in every opposition team. However, that has been not the case. Making absolutely no impact at Chelsea so far since joining from Fiorentina in January, Juan Cuadrado looks another big mistake from the blues. Jose Mourinho hasn’t given him a chance either! 7. Nuri Sahin Also known for being a total flop in a brief stint with Liverpool, Nuri Sahin was a strange signing by Jose Mourinho during his time at Real Madrid. When he moved from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid in the summer of 2011, many people were expecting the Turkey international to become a superstar at the Santiago Bernabeu. Sahin had all the talent to succeed, but Jose Mourinho never bothered to give him the time to adapt. 6. Lassana Diarra The French midfielder completed his move from Portsmouth to Real Madrid on January 2009 for a fee in the region of £18.8 million. He had a good start to the season, earning the respect and admiration of Real fans. However, when Jose Mourinho stepped in as the new manager in 2010, Lassana Diarra fell down the pecking order. With the arrival of Sami Khedira, Diarra lost his place as a regular at the Santiago Bernabeu. 5. Juan Mata Jose Mourinho might as well be one of the best managers in the game, but he has his fair share of mistakes. Benching Juan Mata is one of them; the Portuguese coach preferred Oscar as a playmaker. The Spaniard won Chelsea’s Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013, playing a pivotal role for the Blues. Mourinho benched Mata on several occasions, an action that sparked the anger of Chelsea fans. Well played Jose, well-played! 4. Sergio Canales It is not easy to start as a regular at a club like Real Madrid when you are young and inexperienced, but things get worse when you are overlooked and ignored. That is the case for Sergio Canales, the former Racing Santander attacking midfielder. Canales was one of the most promising players at the time, but with Jose Mourinho taking the rains in the summer of 2010, his talent and huge potentials were simply ignored. 3. Kaka In 2009 Real Madrid paid 68.5 million to make Kaka their latest Galactico. At that time, the fee made the former Ballon d’Or winner the most expensive transfer of all time. In his first season, the Brazilian ace was a general success. However, when Jose Mourinho stepped in as the new manager in 2010, Kaka lost his place as a regular, mostly due to an injury that kept him off the pitch for more than 8 months. Mourinho never made full use of the Brazilian’s talents. 2. Iker Casillas Iker Casillas has been the Spanish No. 1 for successes in two European Championships and one World Cup and the custodian of Real Madrid since 1999; Jose Mourinho was just a Portuguese man in charge of Real Madrid. Casillas |

1. Pedro Leon Jose Mourinho is renowned for his bitter and acerbic comments, whether it is about certain players or with the media. The Portuguese manager mocked Pedro Leon on several occasions, benching him most of the time. Pedro Leon never got on good terms with Jose Mourinho, playing just 132 minutes during the 2010/11 season. Leon was a verbal punching bag under Mourinho, never getting the chance to show his worth. |

kestolove95: Very true. Mikel was supposed to replace Okocha as the next great number10 for Nigeria. Chelsea and Maurino killed his game, or atleast stunted his development. 1 Like |
