Another propaganda & over bloated figures for Southwest educated illiterate & ILLITERATE NORTHERN folks to gloat over, while the reality on ground says otherwise. Should I remind these gullibly Southwest poor souls that only ANAMBRA state can single handedly pay the salaries of the 5 Southwest states, namely, USUN, EKITI, OYO, OGUN, & ONDO state for ten years without going bankrupt. The economy of NNEWI in ANAMBRA state is ten times greater than the aforementioned 5 state put together.

No need talking about the northern states, which is more or less like a desert & the cursed BABYLON

Natural Resources in Akwa Ibom State

Aluminium - Ikot Abasi LGA
Ceramics - Itu LGA
Limestone - Ini LGa
Traces of Gold - Mkpat Enin LGA
Natural gas - Mbo LGA
Silver Nitrate, Kaolin, Silicon - Uruan LGA

Akwa Ibom has the highest number of oil palm tree per capita in Nigeria.

If only these natural resources can be explored, thereby making the state less dependent on Crude Oil

Some triabal bigots are too blind to see this. They just jump into conclusions like a 60 year old male virgin that sees a girl on bikinis once they see anything that speaks ill of other tribes.

They are never taught how to present facts and figures to make their case.

They prefer their unverifiable beer parlour gists and under the mango tree tales by mooonlight, banding it as facts.
You know them perfectly well. I was about to say this.

pls get educated about how governments are run in Nigeria on a state level.
you think I don't know?
Guy please, face reality. This government is practically useless. And no matter how much comes into your state or leaves, your situation will remain the same unless you do something about it. Something which does not involve insulting other tribes on an online forum, something which does not involve a dreamland which will automatically solve all your problems. Something which does not involve complaining that you are being cheated of your resources when in fact, the states that do produce oil are being properly compensated for it.
Unless you realize that you are responsible for your life, you will complain for a very long time. With no results.

With all of this talk about the ethics of palm oil, a person might wonder whether eating it is healthy in the first place. The oil itself is derived from the fruits of the oil palm. It is consumed in both oxidized and fresh forms. As a fresh food, it contains health benefits, such as the reduction of blood pressure and the risk of arterial thrombosis. Unfortunately, much of the commonly used palm oil is in an oxidized — that is to say, processed — form. Once the oil is oxidized, it poses health dangers on the psychological and biochemical levels, such as reproductive toxicity and organ toxicity, impacting organs such as the kidneys and lungs. To read more about the science behind this, peruse this free article by the Plant Foods for Human Nutrition journal.

No doubt, processed oils, especially hydrogenated oils are SERIOUS health risks.

Cold-pressed oils are of course the safest i.e. extra virgin Olive oil and Coconut oil. Then good old palm oil too.

OTOH, moderation is essential even with the good ones.

SUGARS in all forms poses a far greater risk than cholestrol which we actually need in moderation.

SUGARS birth diabetes, heart diseases, and cancer!

Bro, I am a firm believer in Nigeria and all it stands for. We may not know it but our activities here, while they may seem trivial and unserious, are shaping some opinions. Nobody gave BH any serious thought. Even PMB was overlook. Never underrate the power of the human will. No matter how unimportant the person(s) might appear today.

Let's not forget to learn from history. Let equity, equality, justice and fairness be our watchword in national discuss. There's no doubt in my mind, that we will be a great nation if we learn to live with each other. Tribalism and religion are killing us.

Give this man a Big Bottle of Stout!

You be proper Korrect-sense man.
Dont mind the "tribalist and haters"..... together, in justice, fairness and equality, we will always be stronger.

I dont subscribe to "forced unity" neither do l subscribe to unnecessary arrogance and puffing but if we cannot leave together peacefully, option is always on the table.

But l still think people need to leave the past behind and be honest to themselves in making judgements...

Kudos.

Liar! You wish. Enugu IGR is higher than Ogun IGR, not GDP. Imo GDP is the only SE GDP that outperforms Ogun and that is due to its Oil producing status -- remove the Oil and Ogun shyts all over all SE states combined. Get your facts right bro.

and if he does, what will happen? Does it change anything? If dangote was a Yoruba man, would I think he was taking my stuff for free? Then why should I think he is a thief because he is Hausa? Are we all not in the same country?
So what you're saying now is, if I were to buy a huge piece of land in your state, and I discovered gold on every inch of it, I am not allowed to mine my own lands because it's in your state and I am a thief? What sort of thinking is that?

Also, like I earlier said, in the SW, allocations hardly matter. People refine their own roads, provide their own power when possible, and don't take it easy with their government at all. And as is readily seen, SW states are developing at a fast rate. What else do we need a beg? undecided

use that to do what? Search for proof of what YOU are claiming?

Anyway, a research was recently concluded by some american research group that showed that Nigerian Intelligence was highly concentrated in the Yoruba tribe. They even proved that yorubas are the smartest tribe by evaluating several sources and individuals.

So, I totally understand if you're trying to avoid putting up an fault argument you fear I will see through. undecided
