This is not true. Palm oil is said to be healthier than many other types of oil. Palm oil is a cash crop and it is becoming more valuable as of late because it is being used to make chocolate. It is Malaysia's main export and their GDP per capita is higher than Nigeria's.

How is Wikipedia reliable when anyone can easily change the data on it? I could just go there and write that Nigeria's GDP was $1trillion if I wanted to but that doesn't make it true.
