I would have taken this for a mere political praise but trying to discredit Amaechi makes the entire thread useless. What Amaechi did in D Line alone cannot be surpassed in road construction by Wike. Only a true patriot can sacrifice like Amaechi for betterment of Rivers and Nigeria.
what about this thread attempts to discredit ameachi?

According to Amaechi, Wike's skills and talents are highly needed in Nollywood rather than in Rivers State Govt house. He is a good "acting" Governor.

All the sites of those pictures remains the same till date after huge sums of money has been paid to his political dubious contractors otherwise let him make public the amount of money that has been paid for those projects lets compare with the amount of work done.

200Million times, there s no perimeter whatsoever to compare Wike to Amaechi because they are not just in the same class. Rotimi Amaechi is and will continue to be Kilometers away from Wike in all aspects of Governance and Leadership.

Bro, YOU need to change. Isn't that the word?

This thread isn't about comparing Ameachi and Wike; it's about appreciating the smart beginning of Wike.

To call someone a fool is'nt insult per se on the person you called but on you who called it because you are inferior that's why.
This Wike's start does not just make him smart but "Smart Thief". If sharing money among his political unproductive cronies is your definition of been smart then it's no surprise why you are his fan because as they say birds of same feather flocks together.

All the pictures shown are almost irrelevant as one cannot make anything out of though i stand to be corrected, "Those roads shown ends the way they are in the pictures, nothing tangible has been added to it and they are only used for political propaganda like the ones T.A Orji was doing in Abia State.

There are no strides to applaud as far as reality is concerned unless one wants to be applauding and encouraging mediocrity. Meanwhile he should do well to pay workers salary or has the month not ended yet?

Good but not enough. Lets see if the thug will be able to surpass the acheivement of the General of common sense revolution.
That Amaechi remains the best Rivers Governor in recent times is not even in doubt. He surpasses the acheivement of his precedessors combined together. Time will tell if what we are seeing from this known thug is not what i call "Initial Gra Gra"

Already, the zero pothole he launched on his first day seems to be a scam. The pothole blocked at under the Eliozu bridge along the east west road seems to be coming back after some few rains. Just few days after it was blocked, yet the thug spent billions on zero pothole project.

Thank God I also stay in PH....So no be matter of dem say dem say.

Amaechi tried in Rivers state. Wike just started. We are watching him.
We hope he continues snapping the pictures like this for the next 4-8 years(that's if he remains there).

Amaechi stole(which governor doesn't steal), but he worked. Especially during his first tenure.

Also Kudos to the President, General Buhari whose actions and inactions has ensured that Rivers has more resources than what she was receiving when Jonah-daft was in power all within two months of being in charge. Buharis prudence and blockages which Jonah-daft spear headed has made Wike to have more resources to play with even at that the thug still went ahead to borrow 30Billion naira in less than 30 days.

The increase is good news for the struggling state governments. For instance, one of the top states, Rivers, which received N8.9 billion in the month of May got an increased sum of N12.6 billion for June, while a state like Gombe got N4.37 billion which is an increase from the N2.98 billion it received in May.

Anybody can say whatever nonsense they like but here are the facts!

Chibuike ameachi was a great first term governor.

Chibuike ameachi was a shambolic second term governor.

Nyesom wike was dealt a bad hand and met a state in shambles.

But he has managed to make the best out of it in such little time, instead of complaining of empty treasury like other governors.

This government is not 100 days in office but they are already delivering. The abandoned eagle island road is 100% complete, Iwofe road is under construction, he has not scrapped RSSDA, monorail, Greater port harcourt city, etc and other projects of the former administration, instead he is making them better!!

Ameachi on becoming governor walked into RSUST and sacked the vice chancellor without any due process, but gov. Wike has allowed ameachi's stooge Barinene fakae to serve out his term with dignity and completed the law faculty building abandoned since the odili era in just over 2 months.

You can have your opinion, but not facts. These are the facts and only political hacks will dispute them.

I remember a time when I chided Mr Wike for talking too much on probing Amaechi, I'm happy he listened.

I am also happy that someone from the PDP is taking governance to the media. The APC should not have monopoly on that.

Lastly, the man Wike was not given a handover note, he was not handed over to properly, yet he has been making strides. I believe the people of Rivers State are better for it.

This is an example of a man who set out to hit the ground running, unlike President Buhari, who is currently running a government of probes and anti-corruption in the Newspapers.

Take a cue from Mr Wike.

thank you very much! This is one thing these haters of good can never deny!! Wike was dealt a bad hand. Every eediot will come online and start shouting facts in a manner that favours them.........
we arent fools and below remains the true facts...........if u think they are lies then present ur facts to disprove it. Rivers, like all other states of the federation remains a continous project so lets see if what we are seeing from Wike isnt "Initial Gra Gra".

The fool came into Obia-Akpor (Second richest LG in the federation), worked for just 7 Months alone and stole for the rest of his tenure. Who is deceiving who? He has an antecedent from that LG and that speaks volume for the thug.

what were his acheivement as a Minister apart from wanting to sack the entire Nigerian University lecturers? What he couldnt acheived for almost a year, a new minister came in and acheived in less than 24hrs.

How did he get his billions? Being a Barrister, was it from his practising fees? What work has he ever done outside politics in his thuggish life yet he is a Billionaire.

Who handed over to Amaechi yet he became the best Governor Rivers have ever had. This is no excuse. Even at that, Amaechi did nothing wrong. Lamido for instance traveled outside the country a week before handling over. Is the current governor complaining? Wike should ask Tele Ikuru, his slave about any issue bothering him. Amaechi made provisions for that. Ikuru has never for once denied that his boss trully and indeed instructed him as claimed.

The former governor debunked claims that he failed to submit handover notes to his successor’s administration.

“There is no truth in this as all commissioners and heads of MDA’s submitted their handover notes to the Secretary to State Government who forwarded same to the Head of the State Civil Service as is appropriate,” he said.

“Governor Amaechi also directed the Deputy Governor of Rivers State Engr. Tele Ikuru to be the liaison between the outgoing administration and the incoming one. Engr. Ikuru as Deputy Chairman of the state Executive Governor and second man in government had all facts necessary to brief the incoming administration. He also had unfettered access to government house and to every commissioner and head of Ministry Department or Agency.”

Wike was sworn in you sounding like those road construction work have been abandoned for 3 years! most of the projects commenced like just a month ago.....the ones he started immediately he was sworn has been completed like the one in old port Harcourt city (Diobu ) that leads out to eagle Island.
