The point on renegotiating deals and Rents ...not so much especially in this part of the world where your landlord and lender banks are viewed as demi gods.

Loans/mortgages can be renegotiated though doing that for rents may be challenging.

There is no true mortgage industry in Nigeria.
Informal loans, yes. Formal loans....hian! Oyo is the person's case o. grin Especially when its not a corporate organization that took the loan.

It is very possible based on your payment history with your landlord. If you are the serial debtor or defaulter then No way!

I agree...occurrences of the bolded would naturally make a landlord to be distrustful of tenants but a good payment history can be a "soft landing".
