I stay in kaduna state a neighbouring state to kano, katsina, plataeu & niger. I often travel to zamfara and sokoto but sharia is not given a priority as before. Where is given little attention now is Sokoto, kebbi and Zamfara in the whole northern states.

Do you mean by not allowing intoxicant freely in our region is shariah? Or because we try as much to limit social life due to our bliv in life after death that made the shariah seems foreign?


Dubai that people love n wish to go practice shariah by about 70% and has lots of Muslims,dressed by the shariah,their women do same but no-body is stereotyping them.

I just hope you'll understand that most Northerners just bliv in a simple life without given much reliance to filthy life style.

Bro, I think you know am a muslim too, so don't see this as an rgument, buh just a way of gaining knowledge.....It is not true totaly that shariah praticed in some northern state is as. Enshrined in the federal constitution....some state go way over board wit it, and in the case of Dubai, I don't count them as an islamic state anymore, in the world 2dai, no one is trying to limit anyone social life except some few radical islamic state....Sorry I used d word radical....buh seriously, our society av grown out of the traditional islamic practice but some northern state won't just accept westernization, so I think its only right for someone to ask of such state b4 goin dere.
