I don't feed my dog I****IE... How did this suddenly become dog food? Please share with us the nutritional value of I****IE... because I am not convinced. Either way... I stopped cooking for my dogs 5 years ago.... waste of time, gas, and half the food, the cook was eating instead of giving to the dogs. I switched to commercial dog food because of how convenient it is. But those of you who cook... that is how we all started as dog owners. But please stay away from I*DO*IE... your dog will surely develop kwashiokor! Best meal- mix 250gramms of minced meat with about 3 cups of boiled rice. Blend 3 raw eggs with the shell and add to d mix. Bake d mixture for about 30mins and serve when it's been cooled off . For better results add a tablet of dog multivitamins before serving. It sounds stressful but trust me when I say d result on ur dog will b surprising. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Well when am broke i use garri by pouring sone quantity into a pot of water on the stove, then pour some palm oil into it as well with salt and maggi, then finally, i put some fish heads (which i got free of charge from fresh fish sellers at my areas night market) ontop of the mixture, i dont turn it but leave for like 10 or 15 minutes till it boils very well. Later i put the pot down, get the dogs plate and first serve the fish heads and crush scatter them, after which i pour the garri mixture on the plate and stir the fish and garri mix together. My dog enjoys it most tones more than any other food except for jojo lol. 1 Like |

my 9 weeks old puppy, Eve, likes sweet potato mixed wt fish....that's her best meal even though I've not fed her that because I've been lazy to go to the market....but since I work in a fish farm; I feed her noodle crumbs with fish and most times, noodle waste with fish gills and other internal organ which I have easy access to...infact noodle with fish gills or organs is very nutritive and she eats well.....The Caucasian I rescued from someone who had maltreated it has shown signs of improvement. ... |

omoakinn: You've Spoilt it.. introduce other food like rice and fish or indomie and mix with jojo. Then reduce the proportion of jojo gradually.. Until a can of jojo can serve for like 3 days, then stop the jojo... 4 Likes |

For me I practice food rotation with my dogs bcoz feeding them with just one recipe caused them to start rejecting the meals. sometimes I boil some Irish potatoes mashed and mixed with some palm oil. Finally I add some mashed quantity of boiled fish(titus). I also feed my dogs more with build noodles/rice which I buy in bags from the factory. I boil the noodles first and later I add some palm oil to it and when it's almost done I add some whisked eggs insides and some dry feed(either arion or k9 favorite) . Finally I add some chopped pieces of fetus (beef) and I serve it to them. But sometimes just to make them feel a different taste instead of beef I introduce chicken fetus or fish(titus) or even chicken liver, chicken neck, chicken head or chicken hearts. Some parts of chicken can be expensive sha. Beef is always the most affordable for me Sometimes if I'm lucky to get a bag of dry meat stored in the house I boil a good portion of it after which I add some dry feed(either arion or k9 favorite) and I serve it to them Sometimes in the morning when I'm too lazy to cook and if I have some canned food in the house I mix it with some dry feed and serve it to them. I just think u can be innovative in coming up with recipes that will work for u. It's a matter of u trying to get a meal which is healthy with a high source of protein. Pls I stand to be corrected if my recipe is faulted by anyone here. We're all learning and I'm not a well of knowledge. |
