Faithfulwife:same story here .no appetite even after malaria has bn treated.I told my doc and he didnt seem worried about it. I only eat once a day yet the prenatal vitamins make me throw up whatever I ate prior and I am still bf.it is well.



Pls mothers:is the doc supposed to examine my b.r.east during antenatal.hian .I refused though but is that normal procedure

@goldmine, some people have incompetent cervix when pregnant, so as the baby grows, it presses on the cervix and can sometimes lead to preterm labour but it does not happen to everyone. It is usually noticed during a random scan if the lab tech checks your cervical length. In my case it was preventive, the doctor just wanted to cover all angles.
I know that most doctors would recommend a cerclage especially if you are carrying twins or more but I guess you should be OK. It is usually done between 12 and 16 weeks and can be done later in pregnancy if the cervix shows signs of being weak.
