BKings:Yes, an extended family member can sponsor you. Usually, Financial requestment does not apply to SVPs but be sure that your CO can request for it if the case officer is not convinced that you have enough money to take care of your education. I believe that the close relationship sponsorship only applies to Assessment level 3 applicants. |

Hi everyone, for those who got assessed by vetassess, was it required to have your resume certified? Have been a bit confused about where exactly stated on their website. Thanks! |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by bellong: 11:44am On Aug 16, 2015 |
mclarry: You don't need a resume certified. You don't even need any documents certified if you are uploading the original. |

@Lawland thanks for your reply. Please how easy is it coming back home to marry, as a student, and going back with her immediately, or is it advisable to get married here before leaving so as to make it easier for her to join |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by lawland: 3:42pm On Aug 16, 2015 |
BKings:Whichever way you chose will be fine... its still the same process. If you are sure she is the girl you want to marry, you might wanna add her to your application that way it will be easier to get her over. 1 Like |

BKings:Coming back to marry maybe a long thing, if you are sure she is the one you wanna be with for the rest of your life arrange for registry, get your marriage cert which will serve as a home tie (an added advantage in issuing visa), include her in your application & she can come over to you at anytime with ease. Note: If your course is more than 12months & you are financially bouyant enough, both of you can migrate at same time. |
Yes I concur. I applied for eti TAFE in June and am expecting my visa any time soon. I advise you try that. It's for western Australia. I used Goajo agency @samuelokwu, Please wat is Goajo agency requirements and fees? cos i heard they charge $1k-2k after the visa is granted. |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by NNBB2012: 1:20am On Aug 17, 2015 |
mPop: I think this from the Assessing body would answer your question. I have an undergraduate degree and a 2 year Masters in Social Work. Will I be eligible? Applicants with an undergraduate degree and an accredited post graduate social work qualifying degree should submit the required documentation for both periods of study. All applicants need to demonstrate that their Masters was a qualifying Masters not a Masters Advanced which is not a social work qualifying/entry to practice course. Make sure you are doing an accredited Master degree in Social works. I would consider you lucky if you are admitted for Master in Social Works with Bachelor degree in Maths. I know of an individual that was not considered but instead he went to start BSc again in Social works. You also need 1 yr social works experience before you can get positive assessment. |

Their 1k-2k stuff is not compulsory, it's an added service if you want. Goajo will only charge you 150USD for Admission and if you used them for your Visa application and further services in OZ, you will be charged 1k dollars. Hope this helps.

|

@NNBB2012 I have a b.eng in petroleum engineering and an msc in computer systems engineering (accredited). Different fields...I want to assess petroleum so the msc will become irrelevant but I want to know if its still wise to show the msc so that there won't be a huge gap in my resume. Thx a lot. |

@gregdavid Justwise, please take this man and bring back bosslady. Meanwhile, thanks Lawland and aleori for your clear response. But suppose I don't include her in my visa application but later want to do it after the visa is out, any hope? I am asking this because I may not make up my mind too soon, and folks there say 9ja girls are scarce, meaning I have to decide here |

chamboy: Hey bro. Are you at Deakin? If yes, then please let's talk ASAP! |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by NNBB2012: 7:50am On Aug 17, 2015 |
chuckdee13: I thought this issue had been resolved previously. For your Msc to be considered it has to be in the same field. The best thing is to be silenced about your Msc during your assessment; nobody really cares about the gap. |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by lawland: 8:25am On Aug 17, 2015 |
BKings:If you don't include her now, you won't be able to add her again unless you prove that the relationship was not existing at the time of your application. Its just gonna be hard. Are you coming for masters? |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by alaoeri: 9:13am On Aug 17, 2015 |
BKings:If you are in a serious relationship add her as "in a defacto relationship" but you have to provide evidence maybe affidavit, joint bank acct or any legal proof. |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by erictack203(m): 9:32am On Aug 17, 2015 |
@Bkings, Just put her name on your Visa application as your de-facto relationship, then try to get a Document to back it up, you will state in your application that is is not joining you. When she wishes to Join you later, you will complete and sign form 919 (Nomination of Student Dependant) for her and send for her to apply for her Visa. BKings: |
