Eshinwaju: FYI, this is a free world in which you are entitled to freedom of association. Yorubas are free to merge themselves with Bini, Urhobo, Itsekiri and any other interested ethnic group. Yorubas should leave Igbos out of their misery! Yorubas are born liars and propagandists, who are programmed to hate by default. They are capable of criticising and lying about everything, even their tribal-marked, tiger-like horrid faces. 2 Likes |

truefact:i noticed that ALL these rhetorics are more audible after the presidential and lagos gubernatorial elections loses. Igbos made a Jack ass of themselves during the elections and they are all feeling the consequence now. Imagine these Bastards making lagoon T-shirts taunting our Oba (we all know what happened afterwards). These Spanner - heads were even asking for their new yam festival to be celebrated like our Eyo festival? ?.Even they asked for deputy Governor of Lagos position (We all know what happened afterwards ).The made fools of themselves. ...as usual. Igbos have been nuisances since 1600. |

dumie: If we (Aniomas) are not Igbos but descended from Benin kingdom like you claim, how come we don't understand the Bini language but can clearly understand the language spoken by our brothers and sisters east of the river Niger? Does it mean our ancestors abandoned the Benin language, culture and customs after migrating , formulated their own language ,culture and traditions that spread towards the east of the River Niger? Do you also think our ancestors from the Benin kingdom met some Igbos already settled in present day Anioma and decided to adopt their culture while abandoning their heritage from the Benin Kingdom? Personally I believe in the reverse migration theory of our ancestors who were originally from East of the River Niger, migrated towards Benin kingdom lived there for some years but left the Benin Kingdom after disputes with the Benin Kingdom. Until the "Dead Sea scrolls" of the Aniomas are found, it defies logic to say we are not Igbos but from the Benin Kingdom when we do not share same language, customs or traditions. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Ugomba: The chairman of the lecture, Obi Edozien, re-emphasised this point: “We Igbo people are one. We must stop fighting over irrelevancies and emphasise the essential.” Given this situation, there has been an increasing shift of paradigm. Many Igbo groups, especially in Delta state, have decided no longer to play the masquerade. The Obi of Asaba, Professor Edozien, actually laid out conditions he believes will cement Igbo unity permanently. Obi Edozien then called on the people of the South-East zone to support the creation of Anioma state and another for Igbo-speaking people of Rivers state to make for seven states, all of which will be lumped together in one zone or region. https://www.nairaland.com/2515691/anioma-state-best-choice-ndigbo 3 Likes |
