The thought of many pple was dat only d predegree student can score high mark in OAU post utme bt dat is nt so Atleast am neither an ex-predite nor an admitted student of OAU, bt a jambite aspiring 4 medicine and surgery. I had 316 witout d help of no one bt God I lecture myself day nd night and i knew God has done it jst waiting 4 d cut off mark |

50 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT OAU The University website; http://www.oauife.edu.ng/ is the link between University and the outside world. E-portal; Students and e-portal ‘wahala’, e-portal is every students best friend. Here students register courses and check results. No wonder no student wants to share his/her e-portal password with anyone not even his/her parents. Road one; Also known as AdesojiAderemi road. Road one is the linkage road inside and outside the University premises. Sport Centre; Here is not only known for sporting activities only but also known for hosting religious and social activities. Ken SaroWiwa building; Also known as the Students Union building is quite very popular as at least 50% of total population of OAU has one thing or the other to do there daily, due to its incorporation of many business activities making the second most patronised place on campus. It should be noted that the popular Forks and Fingers restaurant and 5viers is located within the Students Union building. Oduduwa Hall; Perhaps one of the biggest events centres in Osun State. The fully air conditioned hall is a must know for all within the University campus. Amphi theatre; The biggest lecture theatre on campus.Also popularly known as venues for most events on campus. Moremi hall; Hostel for the campus big girls.Moremi hall is perhaps every girls dream hostel on campus. Mozambique hall; Hostel for fresh female Students.Where guys come to toast female students young. Spider building; Popularly known because of its aesthetics housing eight different department within it. Spider is one of the most popular buildings on campus even though most students have not seen it physically because of its distance. Senate Building; Office of the V.C and other top officials of the University. One thing must sha bring students to this building one way or the other. Pit theatre; Located within Dramatic Arts department. Pit theatre is known for plays being staged there on campus. Geology Department; Simply known as the most frustrating Department on campus. Health Centre; As a requirement for graduation, students are to be registered here, thus making this place an inevitable part of students life. Prof Omole; He is the current Vice Chancellor of the Great institution. Prof Fabayo; He is the Chief Security Officer of OAU. Crackers; They are known to be the security men with the sole aim of maintaining peace and order within the University premises. Bats; People wonder whose population is much, student or bats. sketcherJ:If I am I for no read book at all.....but as h be so....I had an aggregate of 247 going for biochemistry which of course, is more than enough to get me Biochemistry.And if any case OAU come fakosi increase am to 390 ,I have a two times former Dean of faculty in OAU as my Boss and in any case I still have a left strong leg who can help beside my boss and above all Baba God still dey for my side. My kid sister scored 251 in jamb and 196 in post jamb(aggregrate is 223) and aspired to study law. Any hope? Or is change of course still available? If yes, wat course can she put in for with subject combo eng, lit, gov and crs? |
