LadyGuinivere:
@Chinelo you must have to fill your DS 160 to update your records.
Then with the DS 160 confirmation page you go or send person to DHL with the required documentation. U do not need to book a date.
Source:Me. I have renewed via dropbox
Note: make sure to go with a recent passport pix and not the one on your present visa
Thanks LadyGuinivere, you're far too kind.

Where's Chloe7 o? My "awoof flight" search partner? undecided

I saw Etihad LOS-JFK via Abu Dhabi really cheap. September ending, returning mid October for 225k, I'm scared to book because of the Etihad reviews I read on here, and Chloe7 also complained about them when she flew them to LHR earlier this year.

Please who has had good flights with etihad to the US?

I also saw arik non-stop to JFK for 203k shocked , but I'll pass! grin
the 203k for Arik is it for round trip or one way?
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 7:26pm On Aug 16, 2015

Hello house, i really appreciate everyone's effort in this thread, it has indeed been very helpful 2 me. May God continue 2 bless us all. Pls i have an interview wt d US embassy on 7th september, initially i used vacation as purpose of application bt now i would like 2 include childbirth as i'm already in my 3rd trimester and i wouldn't want 2 miss my chances of getting ds visa. (Its a family application: me, my hubby, our 1yr plus son and my brother in law who is below 18yrs). Pls how do i include this childbirth since i already have a date for interview? Do i need 2 buy another DS160 form? Pls i'll really appreciate your quick response. Thanks

1. Ifegy and worry are correct. U fill NO in the form cos you weren't refused.

2. You take the hard copy of your passport pix to the embassy. You don't upload.

3. These your queshions show say u never peruse this thread. With all love I say please READ thru before u submit and / or go for the interview

LadyG, Ifegy, Worry and all

Hello house, I intend starting the application of my visa today for a conference I wish to attend in December. I am just wondering, if I am denied visa, what happens to all the fees I paid for. i.e. visa fees, conference fees, hotel accommodation and flight. All gone right?

You might be able to defer conference fees, I think this depends on the organizers or the type of conference. You've used up the Visa fee whether or not you get the Visa.

Hotel Accomodation doesn't have to be booked with cash. You don't need to book your flight yet also, that's risky, though some airlines or agents do refunds (most likely partial.)

Thanks for the info, but someone told me that the visa officer can call the hotel to inquire if I have paid for my reservation. How true?

They'll be looking for ties to your home country and not whether or not your hotel booking was in cash. I don't believe this is an important factor.
