hello friends! all my side loaded apps like mobogenie and candy crush refuses to connect online! keeps saying no network found even when there is strong network! pls how do I stop this?

After installation open
Click on tools at the top right
Click on mobile networks to turn it on

Been using one since March 2013 and I can help you with questions you may have

DATA PLAN

FULL BIS will still work with no problem on AIRTEL AND GLO..Stay strictly away from MTN and Etisalat

Stay away from 'Social' Plans on all networks....they don't work

COMPLETE, Unlimited and Absolute plans should work because if there's any restrictions its probably only the no of email addresses you can register on BIS but BB10 doesn't handle email with BIS. i use this particular BIS flavor on Glo and Airtel and i can confirm they work flawlessly

UPDATE: I have a first hand experience that Glo BB COMPLETE PLAN work with no problem

New BB10 Data plans,
STAY AWAY from GLO BB10 MIDMONTH plan, it has been placed on 2G network to block video and audio streaming

The great news is BB10 will run on any normal data plan for andriods, iPhone, mifi etc so we dont even need the crappy BB10 plans being introduced by the networks

lol...take your pictures using 1:1 aspect ratio in the camera app and there will be no crop when you use the picture as dp

if u dnt want to crop ur pix, u use instasize, yes, it works for bbm nd whatsapp

You don't need to worry, with 10.3.2, ur BlackBerry ID and password is the only way to gain access to the device. You can go to protect.blackberry.com to flag the device as stolen

You can set a device lock on the phone and send messages to the phone.

If u don't see it active that's because the people who stole it have not used it

OK, so the blackberry passport is back to life, the power ic was changed...according to the repairer,
but the initial problem b4 the complete failure of the fone still persists
1. camera not functioning...brings camera may be in use by another device error msg
2. wifi doesnt stay on...turns off and on without connecting
3. any media cant play, instead emits a high pitched noise, when a bbm/whatsapp msg enters.

a security wipe has been done...didnt work....
next the software was reloaded...3 different versions...issue still persists

has anybody any idea on what next to do?

please help me, my blackberry Z10 constantly overheats and goes off several times a day. It goes off if left alone for 5 minutes, the battery drains super fast like it can drain to 20% in 30 mins after which it goes off and every time I have to force it to come on again by doing a battery pull it starts asking for blackberry ID confirmation. Honestly, I am disappointed because I have only had it for 11 months less than a year really during which I have repaired it over 6 times. Please what could be the cause of this problem because I am not willing to give up on the phone yet because it's only blackberry device I can stand and I don't want an android because of the cost of subscribing.

go to protect.blackberry.com, under "My Device", you will see "FLAG AS STOLEN" on the list of commands BUT use that command as a last resort!!!!

you will see other commands like "view location", "lock device" etc, make sure that you have full access to the device from the website by trying out those commands

if you choose to flag the device as stolen, the attached picture is what you will see and you will not be able to control the device from the website anymore
