A lot of us are into other things asides Animations. Some of us are students from other disciplines and others just looking for something to fill that void. Plus, wether u like money or not, it should b clear from the onset what exactly u hope to get from these Animation softwares otherwise it might turn into a case of an aspiring doctor ending up in Mass comm because of chemistry.
Animation is a whole lot of trouble on its own talking about just poses. Now when u add the other principles making it a moving frame, that‘s alot to chew. So a lot of research has to be done before choosing a path within it. It dont matter if u have a 32gig rammed laptop or u r on the mac pro doin multi thread. The laptop is as useful to u as the much u have in your head. So if i have a 4gig ram n very proficient wi it, dude that about makes your mac book almost useless if u r under using it.
Again, u see ppl everyday trying to learn how to animate and after a while without success they either fall back on modelling better or jump into Vfx. Not sayin dat this is bad but is this what u really had in mind from the start? Did Animation beat u more than u beat it? Just because its takin longer than expected doesnt mean it wont come. You have to be dedicated n patient. Now check this out, with all of you going into modelling and Vfx, who is going to Animate characters? I can manage creating some vfx in AE but Animations have to be done in Animation Softwares. You cant master ALL OF THEM SOFTWARES unless u r been funded n dont plan doing anyother thing wi ur life.

In conclusion, make your research about what you want to venture into. know what it entails n what it will cost you.
Get a Learning Channel, School or Mentor that will take you through its natural progression.
Stay focussed and on it.

Yes it is OR can be frustruating trying to learn a program for a year or two & still cant do much wi it. & Eventually when u get a part moving, some einstein tells u abt not adhering to principles. Well sunny, if dat line of talk hurts u then u really should consider switching planes bcuz einstein is actually right. & thr‘s more from where dat first missile came from. Truth is there r tricks to d trade n u wont get dis for free for some reasons but they also r OPEN SOURCE looking at u. Problem is, U jus dont understand them or know how to apply them. I get irritated d more wen i see ppl lookin for dis things in places they can never find them jus bcuz others r subscribing to it. if u tow dis line... U go tey for there.
Learning Animations doesnt have nada to do wi pride. Its no rocket science either. So quit thinkin two radii will giv u a tangent cuz dat aint happenin. U must practice, Observe, b patient, very very hardworking, try try try and read read read, especially very relevant articles. Plus, u need money. If just as little as one of these is missing then that your dream will b a waste of time.
When u finish making noise abt photoshop, U advance into creating wicked models n texturing them n u manage to play with rigs & feeling confident about yourself, then u can try animating, “The pain in d arsse Art“ but i like to call it “The god mode“. Here we dont talk. We... DO. Here is where you‘ll b needing that Mangekyo Shariggan Itachi uses to trap his enemies because u‘ll b trapping Animations.
