misskenny: In the 2 years you have been with them, they have paid dividend twice...FY13 was 10 naira per unit and FY14 was 11 naira per unit. Not sure what the price of each unit was when you bought into them... I would like you think you may have received dividends in the range of 15-20% over the 2 year period (7.5k - 10k) and some price appreciation. My advice, get in touch with them (info@fbncapital.com) and request for realtime access to your account then you can take it from there. 1 Like |

ernie4life: I have sent several SMS to the customer care and my account officer to no avail until a minute ago, a customer care called me, informing me that some technical issues are delaying my getting my statement..... How can I change my account officer? Am not satisfied with him....name withheld....I will call him and send sms several times for enquiries, he has not even reply my mails nor call me.... Is very annoying. Someone in this thread complained bitterly about poor customer care of investment one financial services Ltd, I think I agree with him.. You guys have to SERIOUSLY IMPROVE ON YOUR CUSTOMER CARE. PLEASE DON'T REPORT ME IN YOUR OFFICE OOOOO Really Stanbic is my best for now. |

ifyalways: CHECK OUT THIS COMPANY AND INVEST IN APPS, IT PAYS 30% OUT FOR 12 MONTHS TOTAL!! IN 3.5MONTHS YOUR CAPITAL IS OUT AND THE PAY YOU COMMISSION TO REFER PEOPLE, CAN YOU BEAT THAT? Hi guys, Let me show you how to invest in a company that develops apps. There are three ways to come in. And they all pay guaranteed earnings for as much as €450 monthly. Now imagine having 10 of such investments, thats a whopping €4,500.00 guaranteed amount for the 10 accounts monthly. Exciting? But that's not all If you decide to make the investments and refer people into it, you make more money. But if you decide to just invest your Money at a guaranteed earning for 12 months, you are good to go as well. Like I said there are three levels of investments so you have 3 choices to come in and Invest. You can make €33, €140 and €450 investing at different levels. Everything can be monitored online and you can get paid through Payoneer.Com once you register with them by opening an account. Payoneer.Com open account in dollars by default but immediately you register proceed to chat with an official to open the Euro account before your Debit Cards are shipped out. Business has never been made easier. This is not a scam but an opportunity to invest and cash out as you wish by investing. Your ability to invest is how you will come out smiling. I can assure you that in Europe and Asia people are already cashing out and now they have reached the shores of Africa. Risky? Well the only risk here is you make nothing by investing nothing, a trial will convince you. If you have cash sitting in the bank doing nothing, here is your chance. As I am writing this, I am number 2 in Africa that has branched out from Europe, Asia, Brazil & USA. I am looking for committed "crazy" and "mad" investors with ingenuity to form a team and let's take Africa by storm, especially guys who know what it means to be pioneers in a system that works. If you are in Abuja let us meet in person or call me on 0909 292 7173 or email Daveuny2011@gmail.Com . Only serious investors please, if you are not ready do not bother, thanks for understanding. We can meet in person (Abuja) and we'll show you how it works. Cheers David |

purpose08: permit me to say you won't loose a penny, mutual funds are well regulated by SEC, secondly FBN is a name with fundamentals in the financial sector so you have nothing to loose. the rates are even more fantastic than Tbills in most cases. mutual funds with majority of its asset classes in the money market has a relatively stable interest rate. Have no fear. 2 Likes |

purpose08: All these pple with 5,000 naira (movie tickets and popcoorn for two) that want you to do calculations sef... I will try and explain and am in a very humorous mood so bear with me. I think what you have done is about right, no matter how small your money is, you should do proper risk assessment and ask when in doubt (try not to overthink it though). The rate (13.8%) changes from time to time, it could be 14%, it could 12%. However, it has not been lower than 10% in 3 years to my knowledge... The rates are yearly rates but calculated on a daily basis but that does not mean you will get 13.8% every day or month. There is a calculation to convert those rates but lets not bother ourselves with that. Let us make a fair assumption that over the course of a year, the average yield for FBN MMF is 12%. It means you make 12% on your 5,000 in a year, or approx. 1% on your 5,000 every month and you can take it futher by saying you make approx. 0.033% per day if they use 30 days in a month or 0.022% per day if considering a 22 working days in a month. Consequently, in a year you make 600 naira profit, a month you mke 50 naira (it is painful to go further on 5,000naira) but am sure you get the gist. Yes, you can lose all if the Stock Exchange, Bonds market and the Federal Government collapses or the world ends. That seems fair I believe...lol. The company is backed up by FBN Holdings and regulated by SEC as mentioned by Ernie and they invest is bonds, equities and other securities so unless there is a catastrophy you are safe as far as loosing all is concerned...Can you lose some, possible but unlikely. If the above seems complicated, scratch that...here is a summary 1. On your 5,000 you make about 50 naira every month 2. Your capital is secure, low risk of losing it 3. Start now and do not over think it I bill my clients per hour and your bill for the above is 10,000 naira 6 Likes 1 Share |

carpenter: okay i think i get a clearer picture now if i'll be investing i definately won't invest just 5k i just thought 5k will make it easy to explain. you said it unlikely i loose a part of it my principal. i just wanna know how much "UNLIKELY" that is. if you don't mind you could use yourself as an example have you ever lost a part of your principal to MMF if Yes about how many percentage of your principal did you loose. thanks so much carpenter for your time and about your 10,000naira i'll put it in a MMF for your lol |

purpose08: I have not lost a single kobo...infact i have gained an average of 12.5% per year. However, investments are never risk free. I give you an example...we sleep to regain lost energy for work or play the next day, so you could say sleeping is an investment for the next day. Can we sleep and not wake up...yeap, that's the risk of sleeping. Another example is spending thousands or millions in education...so we can get a job in future that pays above average. I leave you with this http://www.agusto.com/rating.php?id=104 ...Agusto and Co is rating company and this is what they have to say. 2 Likes |

Mutual funds is like fixed deposit account..you can lost your interest due to some reason but you can never lost your capital. |
Re: Mutual Funds by carpenter(m): 8:55am On Aug 20, 2015 |
IMO it has to do with interests...some people don't enjoy the number game even though they read courses related to managing numbers or work in an industry that requires dealing with numbers. Also, be ready to be involved in a discussion where you say something and a banker says something contrary and everyone thinks due to the nature of his job, he must be right. Information is key and the more the give out; the more you get...call it positive reinforcements ukay2: |
