most 3D softwares are ooo. Maya is very complex but with time you get the hand of it. The main thing I think is if you choose one, try and master that one rather than trying to learn diff softwares at once. Though it's good to have a fare knowledge of other 3D softwares.

Maya is cool, so is blender3d. like julimax said, choose one be good at it.
BTW... I use blender and I love it.

thanks for the reply. I've booked blender since last year, i even downloaded it but haven't been using it because it is complex and am not yet ready to learn it wink when am ready, will surely do wonders with it
