8 Habits That Keep You Poor Even With A Reasonable Income . by GODSBEAUTY(f): 3:12pm On Aug 18, 2015 |
Have u ever wondered where all ur money went to ? Do u often ponder why there is no money in ur Bank Account at the end of each month ? Have you found urself frequently thinking about the invisible holes through which ur funds vanish ? If yes , then u have landed at the right place , We can tell u exactly the reasons why u are unable to amass money despite earning a decent income . " Here are the top 8 habits that can sneak into ur hard-earned income and eat up ur funds " (1) SPENDING MORE AS YOUR INCOME INCREASES ; There is no harm in raising ur standard of life when u can , However , if u are a person who is constantly looking for ways to spend ur money , u will probably find urself in a difficult situation soon enough , if u continuously raise ur expenditure along with any increase in ur income (or even without it ) , it would be hard to have any real saving . So try to keep ur expenditures at a constant level along with ur exploring ways to increase ur income , That is the route to success ; (2) FOCUSING ON THE PRESENT WITHOUT CARING ABOUT THE FUTURE ; Usually , when people find it hard to tackle a problem , they choose to ingnore it , that is a sure recipe for disaster . The same is the case with ur finances , generally people use to focus on their prensent needs , wishfully thinking that future needs will somehow be met in some way , You need to take the future into perspective whenever u are making any financial decision , Although it is good to take care of everything in the present but try and do ur best to save for ur future ; (3) YOU THINK IT IS TOO EARLY TO START SAVING ; When u are young , it is easy to get carried away by various pleasures money can buy , People often think that right now is too early to start saving or investing ,. Wrong ! it is never too early to save a portion of ur income , no matter how low or high ur income is . Start saving today , infact experts say that u should save before u spend , keep aside a portion of whatever money or income u get and spend the rest ; (4) NOT KEEPING A RECORD OF YOUR MONEY ; We all think that we know where our money comes from and it ends up , but sadly that is not true for most of us . We might be aware of out major expenditures but the small things usually eat up our finances more than the big ones .It is an excellent idea to start keeping a journal for all ur incomes and expenses , whether they are huge or small . This way u will always have a much better idea for controlling ur finances ; (5)LACK OF BUDGETING OR POOR BUDGETING ; You might be documenting everything but then again u might be missing the starting point - a budget. Having a realistic and well documented budget is the foundation of all ur financial planning and success . Make a budget and stick to it , i can say this from my own experience , it makes a huge difference in how u look at ur money , it is very easy to get carried away and commit unnecessary expenditure ; (6) BEING UNCLEAR OF YOUR NEEDS , WANTS AND FINANCES ; In order to save money and build weath , it is of utmost important that u absolutely care about the most-have , good-have and not-to-have .You need to prioritize ur financal targets , if getting rich is a top priority for u , then u need to sacrifice some of ur present pleasures , whether u like it or not . Be more clear about ur goals and write them down , review them at regular intervals to keep urself on track ; (7) IGNORING YOUR DEBTS ; For a lot of people in today's world , interest eats up a huge portion of their finances , it is a painful fact . Still ... they don't know how to get out of this vicious cycle , leaving them with little to no saving at all , first of all , make paying ur debts a top of the list item on ur agenda . Work out a plan for this and stick to it , no matter what , you don't want to believe that you are poor right ? ( CONSTANTLY UPGRADING YOUR ELECTRONIC GADGETS ; There is no limit to it , while there is no harm in buying gadgets that u actually need , but buying only because there is this next version of mobile available in the market will definitetly cause u more harm than good . Take charge of ur life today and do only what needs to be done right now , you can do it , just do urself a favour and start ur journey of becoming weathy today . Just as a wise man said..... " IF SAVING IS WRONG THEN I DON'T WANNA BE RIGHT " Source... ChinaDaily... 3 Likes
