@Lawland thanks for your reply.

Please how easy is it coming back home to marry, as a student, and going back with her immediately, or is it advisable to get married here before leaving so as to make it easier for her to join

I am going through the process at the moment, my hubby came to nigeria and we got married before I took the form 919 he came with and some others documents to abuja to apply for visa.

Hi Sholly, whats your hubby studying?
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by chuckdee13(m): 4:16pm On Aug 17, 2015
Ok thx so much. It was the gap I was concerned about cos I never wanted to assess the MSC. Thx again smiley
NNBB2012:

I thought this issue had been resolved previously. For your Msc to be considered it has to be in the same field. The best thing is to be silenced about your Msc during your assessment; nobody really cares about the gap.

Thanks for this contribution. I'd like to ask some questions as well;

1. did he state during his student 573 visa application earlier, that he was in a de-facto relationship with you? Did you play any role back then?

2. Is it so stressful presently and what is the process like.

My Situation: I have a girlfriend presently. I intend to apply for Student Visa soon and I hope to return and marry her during the course of my stay there, after which I'd bring her over to join me.

3. What should me be the best line of action for me?

Thanks

@Scholly,

when completing your form 919, we're you requested to Submit a Bank Statement and a Letter from your hubby's School stating that he is making academic progress? How many years program his he studying?

No he didn't state that he was in a De-facto relationship. We didn't really know the process then.
Is not stressful physically at all,is just to take documents to teleperformance. I went with our marriage certificate, notarised passport pages of me and my hubby, birth certificate, vitally everything that was required in the checklist that concerns the visa I applied for.

I can't really tell you the best line of action as am still waiting for my visa.

I didn't submit bank statement, it was lastweek that I was sent email to send proof of financial transactions between me and my hubby to show that we are really a couple,as well as pictures from before we got married, pictures of our marriage and pictures after our marriage.

Good morning Everyone,

please can someone give me list of cheap university to apply for my Masters programme, I studied cooperative economics and management and I came out with second class lower division been working for 7 years now. I also want to know if Australia allow a married person to come over with the family immediately or I must come first before applying for their visa?

sorry for the long talk but I will like someone to put me through on what to do.

I know some of my questions has been answered before , if I can get a link or something will really appreciate it.

N/B is it late to apply for a course I will also want your advice on which of the state is cheaper to raise children, rent, school, feeding and cost of living.

please help a sister out.

thanks everyone.

Why don't you go for PR and you get to do your MSc much cheaper? You will definitely spend a lot less getting a PR (with all the associated benefits) compared to opting for an MSc programme.

I have a b.eng in petroleum engineering and an msc in computer systems engineering (accredited). Different fields...I want to assess petroleum so the msc will become irrelevant but I want to know if its still wise to show the msc so that there won't be a huge gap in my resume. Thx a lot.

Even if you have a Masters in the same field, it doesn't fetch you additional points to that which you will get from your first degree.

I think this from the Assessing body would answer your question.

I have an undergraduate degree and a 2 year Masters in Social Work. Will I be eligible?

Applicants with an undergraduate degree and an accredited post graduate social work qualifying degree should submit the required documentation for both periods of study. All applicants need to demonstrate that their Masters was a qualifying Masters not a Masters Advanced which is not a social work qualifying/entry to practice course.

Make sure you are doing an accredited Master degree in Social works. I would consider you lucky if you are admitted for Master in Social Works with Bachelor degree in Maths. I know of an individual that was not considered but instead he went to start BSc again in Social works. You also need 1 yr social works experience before you can get positive assessment.

okay, thanks alot ... so after my studies i need to wrk for at least 1 year bfre applyn fr pr right?
