There's certainly no need for you to be in haste, rather if u've chosen ur desired school and course, start working on ur motivation letter. You can start checking on uniassist from october/November, however there are some schools with deadlines in septmbr/october, but most are not under uniassist. Cheers.

With a good motivation letter, I believe you will definitely get admitted with your stats.
If you wish to apply through uniassist, I'll suggest you wait till the application process is opened to avoid posting twice because you'll still need to post the application form for each school you wish to apply to.

Thanks boss, u are right , I noticed most of the schools accepting summer application are not using uniassist. meaning I have to send my documents separately to each of them consequently spending more money . ..... so I'm looking at getting someone in Germany , so I can send all my documents in one envelope then the person will send them separately to the intended schools . That will cost me less . what do u think guys ?

Since there is enough time why not use NIPOST. Just register d mail and send it to the schools that are not under uni-assist, cost is about 600naira or so.

Goodluck...

Hello house,

Has anyone been able to book an appointment recently, say in the past week?

I sent the embassy an email with the required docs for booking student visa on friday, and then again today but haven't received a response.

I thought its the way of the german embassy to give prompt replies.... or is there something I didn't do well?

nipost kei, I am beginning to doubt NIPOST. Since July 21 my documents never still reach germany till date. In fact I used NIPOST at the international airport. I tracked on nipost website it still says received in exchange office since 22 of July.

NIPOST don't really have a stipulated interval for delivery but they will normally tell you 10 working days wch have actually worked for me. Some post also takes 15working days. But I can assure u that NIPOST delivery does not exceed 1month.
So if u check the time of ur application and the deadline u can decide on wch one to use.

Get your documents ready. Differentiate between Uni-assist documents and Non-Uni-assist documents. Send pm(s) to some members on this forum who have been granted Visa. More Visa hopeful still on its way. so keep your eyes on the thread

They may help you with sending the documents. It cost 2euros per document within Germany.

Just my own suggestion.

Good luck !

best suggestion by dolpas. I did same when i was sending to uni asist. Shared cost with someone here and sent it to somebody over there who later dispatched it to various schools.

check your mail Mr man..

Your brother needs to convince the auslanderbehorde why they shld gv him a visa to study takin into consideration he dropped out from his HND program(in his own country)..his commitment towards academics is in question here ..you know how these things work bros...Once u drop out from a program and list such in ur cv or tender any document from that program ..your employer or any institution ( in his case the auslanderbehorde) will ask u abt it durin interview to ascertain the reason why u dropped out and what u did after droppin out.

The question from the other side of the table is simple and straight forward.

Why shld we grant him a study visa when he dropped out from his previous program a yr ago?

His response shld be convincing...

I think some auslanderbehorde re now strict because of what some foreign students re doing....so I expect to see more of this

An advise to other applicants if you ve gap in between study periods or period of graduation and when u intend to begin ur msc pls provide proof of what u ve been doing

All the best pple.

Boss let us know the outcome of this issue pls.

NB: my post is not to question your brodas decision but just tryin to put things in perspective.

@twinkle Etihad only have flights to Berlin and Frankfurt.., they don't fly Hamburg (Northern Germany).....Most importantly, the cost of the flight depends on when you make the reservation..The nearer to your travel date the higher the cost........All in all Emirate and Turkish airline remains the best option most especially if you flying to Hamburg.(low cost and flexibility)....
