Every body dey claim through luck and hard work. I got my job through connection. I didn't apply. I received a call from a man close to a politician on a Sunday afternoon , I sent my cv that day, the following day I received a message to Come and collect my appointment letter .

Sorry my broda, like to ask what is wrong with my email? Well, to let u in, my first job with a reputable organisation that pays 6 digits as my take home salary per month, as at that time, was gotten with this email, only got another official email when I resumed.

U can never see any advert stating metallurgy engineer but mechanical's.. Only mechanical wud always fit in as a corrosion and materials engrs, even welding supervisor too. I begin to wonder if they even knw abt Met/Mats in dis country.

I was like God if I don't get this job, it won't be fair and I won't go for any long distance interview again. My GF then now wife even gave me 10k to add to my transportation money.

Anyways I got the job all thanks to God and resumed December 2013.

Thanks for the compliment. I remember back then, my salary was just 90k. By the time task and pension is removed, it was 79 or 80k. And she stuck with me believing things will be good. I remember vividly how reluctant I was to go for the interview because of the distance but she encouraged me to go. Now I earn close to half a million monthly and we are both happy.

She is God's gift to me.

3 years later, Inshallah, I bought my own Big Car from Blogging too Thunder fire banking, NNPC, CBN,FIRS jobs, Im far more better than their Ogas there. (No bragging oOo )
