I created this thread with the newly released phone, Infinix Hot 2 in mind.

This is a country that supposedly hates stealing and even go as far as lynching petty thieves.
But we "tweak" and steal the data incentives offered to people who buy phones with their hard earned money.

People defend tweaking to browse Free on our ISPs, with the premise that they are only "revenging" the evil done to them by these service providers, who have refused to provide truly affordable data.

My Question is, why should I buy a phone and meet my data already stolen, when I'm not the ISP that you have your grudge against?

This is synonymous with stealing and corruption, and if you actually campaigned for "change", but still steal incentives from people, you are just another hypocrite.
Let me have the first 8 digits of your imei

nobody stole your data my friend, haven't you heard that stealing is not corruption.

What happened is that somebody might have tweaked (not steal) your Pro imei, and that is why you should have learnt imei tweaking since, so as your imei is being tweaked, instead of you staying there and be complaining, you just pick up your phone an re-tweak to get your own data, and life will continue

If you are unsatisfied with MTN's services then you should abandon the network. No one is holding a knife to your neck and forcing you to use any network. It isn't anyone's business if you feel you are being cheated by your network provider. That's your problem. It isn't anyone's fault MTN stole from you, it is your fault for remaining with them long enough for them to continue stealing from you.

Rather than going about asking people to 'get a life', you might want to do something about your rude and petty nature.

I find the IMEI tweaking shii arduous. Why should i start tweaking IMEI because of some paltry 1GB when Lord Of The Rings - the return of the king HD is 3.4GB?

Blame it on poverty... U'll see Nigerian future leaders celebrating over stealing mere 2GB that belongs to sum1 else.

It's a pity. cry
