I think the problem is frequency that are in Horizontal signal somtimes stop and return in a moment however the best solution is use a good LNB.

Yeah that is the way we should be dealing with already answered questions. People jus don't want to read, they like being spoon fed. most of the answers to repeated questions are jus a few pages back. or u can jus type the key word e.g how to track astra 2b in the search area above. u get more help / answers than what you are looking for.

a summary of my failed hunt today. location: Maiduguri north east Nigeria. dish size 2.4m. had set out to track paksat. I used the frequency 4007v15555. after over 2hours of sweat in the hot Maiduguri sun, my efforts were greeted with red bars. I gave up on it and decided to hunt down idman. I used the tp 3730v30000. I got green in less than 10min. I was optimistic that after changing to my Ku band lb, I'd hit green but to my utter dismay, the bars were redder than ripe miango pepper. all efforts proved abortive. I then moved over to hunt for Eri TV. it was another difficult task but as I was about giving up, I hit green on 12523 v 6000. I was about rejoicing when I imputed the frequency for eritv on 10832 V 2780 but once more I hit red. after over 7 hours, I got nothing to show for it. am so sad but I've not given up. I still believe these channels are receivable and I'll continue d hunt. anyone with useful suggestions should please assist.

2) With Eri tv, u will be covered....kindly input 12722 v 2220 or 12730 v 2590 and give us the testimony

3) I will encourage you to motorise ur 2.4M dish and be happy from inside ur house ,swinging the dish across your horizon.....u will be surprised!
1.8M back then was fun tracking hotbird with gangstar101.
4) There are people who can motorise it for u, especially if you go to the street beside monday market. Cant remember alhaji's name now but he's shop is d biggest there and i bought my echolink receiver back then from him

It seems Redlight HD is now free to Air along with TV Congo on Yamal- 402 at 54.5 East. ..feq- 11008 V 8000...... Someone should confirm.

Try and push the lnb inside and turn the 0 digit to 12 0clock, it will reach 60%. Make sure the have Sony tp on as you do this to monitor the progress. It requires patience and continuous trial to get it right

you have done well " that's the spirit of FTA don't give up as others have adviced bcus your success will encourage people like me , I quiet remember the time of IRIB 20e I modified my 1M dish to track it & I was successful then even last Sunday I tried the same on Intelsat 20 68e C but not successful bcus of too many blunders in front of my dish however i decides to go for full 1.8M dish & also reposition it to avoid blockages.
So soldier on Viva FTA. My regards to all the Gurus in the house.

Pls gurus indeed your help my 4669x decoder Volume is not functioning well , I have to raise the volume to 100 before one can hear a sound this is not the case before meanwhile I have tried other decoders their volumes are OK bcus initially I thought its from the satellites channels but that's not the problem even when I use the TV volume I still have to raise it to the highest number before you can hear sounds. Pls Gurus what do I do to solve this volume problem. Pls Help. Viva FTA.

Have you done the audio trial? i.e we have stereo,right and left, then low,medium and high. Have you tried it?by interchanging them to see which one works better.
