Imo State Government Discovers More Crude Oil by zuchyblink(m): 5:22pm On Aug 21, 2015 |
Owerri – The Imo State Government said it
discovered more crude oil in some local
government areas of the state. The areas
are Oru East and West, Ngor-Opkala and
Obowo Local Government. Imo is one of the
oil producing states in Nigeria with oil being
drilled from Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta Local
Government Areas. Also there is oil in
Anambra State, Abia State and others.
Besides crude oil, Biafra land has many
other natural resources, including coal,
limestone, etc. Now the big question is: (1)
Who are they people enjoying these oil
money from our land? (2) Why is it that
some of us are abroad doing cleaning job
when our land is full of oil? (3) All these
crude oil resource discovered in our land, is
it a blessing or curse to our people? (4) Can
Nigeria allow Biafra to go with all these
crude oil resources discovered in our land?
Lastly (5) Which interest is the petroleum &
exploration oil companies in Biafra land
representing? |

I knew the thread was leading to Biafra! When has Imo state started oil exploration on its own? More like Imo discovered more underground water and soil erosion! 3 Likes |

Thanks for the observation, the eastern economy is about to burst with new investments as soon as subsidy is removed from petroleum products. There would be nothing less than 3 medium sized refinery and petrochemical plants and other allied industries churning out products for export in those states |
