Cecelia Ibru was convicted for $1.2billion and she served jail term for only 6 months.

The embattled former governor of Rivers state, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi has accepted the ruling by the Federal High Court in Port-Harcourt to investigate the activities of his government.

Amaechi who was fighting to stop the Rivers state government from probing his government spoke in a very low spirit in a private chat with his kinsmen said " Jonathan is the cause of all these crises in Rivers State.

5 percent of what Cecelia stole, I would have served the jail term for her. And how much are they even accusing me of stealing?

Sorry to disappoint you all, the jail term for looters in Nigeria is 6 months to a maximum of two years (even when they chose to keep the loot) per charge which unfortunately runs concurrently in most cases.

National Assembly may take another four years to amend the laws on criminal justice.

the forces against this man are in his party, Wike and Pdp are secondary... His disgrace might just be around the corner.

Wike should brace up for his prison term as soon as d tribunal kicks him out.he would be probed starting from when he was LG chairman, to chief of staff, then minister, before probing him as 4months gominor.
