A great thread being ruined by people who won't read but feel the need to comment...not nice @Op, it's horrible that in 2015, we still experience such. Can't the banks hire their own security.....heavily armed professionals 3 Likes 1 Share |

open a DYA(DIAMOND YELLO ACCOUNT) ACCOUNT BY DIALLING *710# on ur MTN SIM and save urself some stress. call DYA customer care on 118 to know the nearest DYA agent close to u. u can deposit money in ur DYA account and also withdraw money anytime u want. u can transfer money to any bank account in Nigeria using any kind of phone(even nokia touch light phone). I'm using it and i like it. |

After skimming and scanning, The little i can deduct from the longest epistle in the world is that the town isn't even in the North. I thought i would see Borno or the NorthEast because of insurgency, So surprise to see Ogun state! 3 Likes |

;DThe first picture is GT bank Ibadan Rd, Ijebu and the other bank is UBA on Ibadan Rd Ijebu ode as well. I hate banking in that town, you see a long queue both outside and inside the bank. this is why I had to request for internet banking. ;DThe first picture is GT bank Ibadan Rd, Ijebu and the other bank is UBA on Ibadan Rd Ijebu ode as well. It's disheartening that things have gotten to this level in ijebu ode n its environs...i schooled around & this problem had persisted till date..back then, made sure I paid my fees early because if u wait till late when school gives a deadline, you could be caught in such robberies..those guys wait till such times & bombard banks!! 1 Like |

I am wondering what kind of "future leaders" most of you will become, when you cant even read an article, talk-less of reading a Text-book or Novel that could be ten times more voluminous? You guys need to develop your reading and comprehension abilities, everything cant be in summary or does this look like twitter? Back tot he article jare. I dont blame the bankers, only a fool will put his trust in those lying Policemen. Half of the time, they are doing illegal road block, collecting "Rogger", the other half, they are drunk on Orijin or some kaikai. This reminds me of what Fashola had to do, when Armed robbery became a menace in Lagos state. He massively funded the Police with resources and setup special anti robbery squads (SARS) with fearless men. I dont understand why and how Ogun state Governor cannot buy about 50APC (and pay in trenches) so that there is always an APC within each branch? Does he not know that the state makes money from economic activities which are being paralysed right now? Invest small money into security and reap it back four fold, Governor Ajumobi, you are sharper than this now? These things are not rocket science or do we need to invite #SaBaba PMB to declare a state of emergency in your state, if you can provide security for the people?i As for that Tout in Ekiti state, l have no advice for him. The people of Ekiti seems to be getting what they bargained for. When Fayose is done with them, they will be 200years behind civilization. Lastpage! 5 Likes 1 Share |

'Can't say I'm not suprised about ije ode and frankly some regions in Ogun state. The Armed ROBBERY and Cross border banditry is scary. Ogun state is the very first were ALL Police officers on Ops were issued body armour and ONE of TWO States that lead to the NPF formally adopting the AK-47 assault rifle (Bulgarian version) so as to match the firepower of these criminals. 1 Like |

lastpage:Ajimobi is governor of Oyo state and not Ogun state. his first tenure from 2011-2015 was bank robbery free, it was one of his achievements he used to campaign. in 2012, he launched the Oyo state Security trust fund. As for Ogun state, the governor is Amosun, I am aware he invested in tens of APCs for the state security from proforce, and I doubt if there was any successful bank robbery in Ogun state thru out his first tenure too. The problem of the people is more of a psychological hangover from past robberies, as the casualty figures were usually high |
