This is so very true. I graduate from OOU in 2010 and after the robbery we all had to go to Ibadan for all bank transactions. D last robbery that happened in campus shut down all banks and till today no bank in d sch. IJEBU-ODE became a shadow of itself after they had their fair share of the robbery. It's so bad that d case is still same even after about 6yrs. I remember d IJEBU-Igbo robbery, it was d Most fatal and it was all in d morning. Even APC couldn't help us den oh. God shud pls have special intervention in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Op, you really tried. I work and live in Ijebu Ode and can tell u the situation is so grim. as a business person, my operations depend largely on banks. Sometimes we had to carry physical cash from Ijebu ode to Sagamu for lodgement. My sales reps that are supposed to sell from 8am to 3pm before going to the bank to deposit their proceeds sometimes return by 11am (u can imagine the lost sales opportunities ). Now robbers have resorted to burgling. My apartment has been burgled twice ds yr. No house in my neighbourhood has not had its fair share ds yr. May God come to our rescue as the govt is no longer willing to provide any solution to the problem. 1 Like |

I am a banker in Ijebu-Ode. I testify to this revelation. I was almost shedding tears one day, when it started raining before banks open, seeing our esteemed customers being beaten by rain when banks were yet to open. For the case of Ijebu-Ode, hold governor Amosun responsible. 1 Like |

The west is under seige of armed robbery. Why don't their governors take a cue from someone like TA Orji who used the presence of the Nigerian Army to flush robbers and kidnappers from Aba ? Once witnessed 2 robbery incidents in a space of 20 minutes in the west.. Their youths are idle, yet they all want to blow or live big . That's why Fayose decided sending them to ABA to learn crafts. . 1 Like |

Imagine the level of Armed Robbery going on in South West, but Seun and his bigoted Mods ensure the criminal activities going on in South West barely hit FP...so they can continue fooling themselves while there region suffer in silence. |
