KANO – Pan Igbo socio cultural organization, Igbo Renaissance Movement has urged it’s leaders to approach President Muhammadu Buhari with humility over cries of marginalization.

The National Coordinator of the Group, chief Chris Chukwubuzor Azuka in a statement made available to Reporters in Kano Sunday, described the sustainable attack on Mr. President over alleged marginalization as a ‘misplaced aggression’.

Chief Azuka in the statement which was jointly signed by him and Deacon Kingsley Godwin said that “this is the time to approach President Buhari with humility to rebuild trust, friendship and to pledge our loyalty to his government”.
The Igbo chief further enjoined his kinsmen to desist from building tower of isolation and antagonism, as he stressed that ” being the antagonist to our neighbour would not do us no good”.
The Igbo Renaissance Movement noted that the race was been hunted by its ” blind politics of hate, bitterness, isolation, greed over this year’s,” but however pointed out that ‘this is the time for the Ndigbo to engage in honest self examination and soul searching’.
The statement declared that the important challenge facing Igbo’s nation now is dart of leadership and therefore called on its stakeholders to put it’s house in order for common good.

The Igbo group endorsed President Buhari war on corrupt leaders no matter who they are and where they comes from, adding that “they have stolen for themselves and their families alone and none stole on behalf of their tribe. ”

The statement added that “we urged the President to continue with his efforts to recover from corrupt criminals what they have stolen from the public vault, and whoever have stolen should surrender themselves to the law.”
