angelo82: Currently, there is a massive global melt down. China, Europe, America and the rest of the world. It is little hope that something will trigger the bull. The ultimate beneficial of the current mood are long term investors. fundamentally, Nse is sound. 1 Like |

angrybull: Maybe.........But in the case of Nigeria,I think high level market players might be using the market to get the attention of our president........If you don't know stockmarket is a weapon too that can be used to checkmate any government or cause serious economic problems in a country........Generally the cause of the bear is complicated........ 1 Like |

angelo82: Yes, I agree with you but the current problem is a global phenomenon. It is a strategy for the forces that own the world to maintain an economic balance. It normally happens once in a while. This world is control by a few but a very powerful forces. |

angelo82: Yes because the bear has been around globally and then China's recent currency devaluation aggravated it. We will now very soon wether we are headed for another market crash. |

.............I remembered when the market was stable and everyone was saying I just ji this jo that and all of a sudden most folks are going nuts with different hypothesis...........Lets chill a little but I don't think there is going to be any market crash like that of 2008................Market has not even recovered yet from that effect..............Any market crash like the 2008 effect will just wipe out all shareholders like a nuclear bomb.................. 1 Like |

The market is trying to bounce back..and due to impatience people are developing different hypothesis that defy the laws of demand and supply...even panick selling is good for the market..because it tends to encourage bullish return. If you are not buying now...tomorrow might be too late... 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by FranklinRich: 1:36pm On Aug 27, 2015 |
Born2berich: Well I think some stocks are overvalued and others are undervalued or rather they will get undervalued as their prices continue to decline. Afriprud for one is almost touching N2, this is a stock that it's interim dividend yield was more than most blue chip full year dividend yield. I see no reason why I should not buy it at around N2, knowing that at this price, i can still get a full year dividend yield of close to 10%. Add that to its interim dividend and that adds to some okay returns. Capital appreciation might not come now but in the fullness of time, it will. 2 Likes |
