Even if he appoints every member of his team from Daura I don't mind. As long as he gets he job done. A president should select his advisers. 1 Like 1 Share |

As long as the nation progresses and things work normally I don't care where buhari picks his ppl. If he likes he can pick his whole family members all we should be concerned about is his promise delivery. And secondly as long as my father, mother or any family member of mine isn't contesting or lobbying for any government appointment I don't see reason why I should clamor for any section or tribe to have nominations or appointments. The most important thing now should be how to get the nation moving on the right track |

I have only one question for Buhari and those who like or pretend to like his lopsided appointments: Why did Buhari not find a man of integrity from the North to use as his running mate during the Presidential election? Why did he go South? If indeed regions do not matter he should have selected a man/woman from Duara or any other part of the North to be his running mate. I bet even those pretending not to mind if he appoints only Northerners would not have voted for him. Let us not bury the truth in the name of defending our candidate. Let us call a spade a spade. Buhari is wrong and should be corrected instead of being praised/hailed. ONLY the truth shall set us free, NOT propaganda. |

onatisi:if indeed it does not matter where the appointees are from, how come Buhari did not have a Northerner as his running mate during the presidential election? Why use a Southerner to win election and turn around to appoint only the Northerners? 3 Likes |

[quote author=Emekamex post=37403432]My own is that northerners shouldn't make noise and kill people as they usually do if a southern president in the future only appoints people from his region in the name of competence.[/quote U r right, but d problem is that, a hausa man is always a hausa man. He believe staying with Chicken does not stop him from slaughtering d Chicken. So even they appoint all d hausa pple into office n another tribe comes to power, they will still kill pple in agitation for right. The only thing others ahould do is to be ready to fight back that's my policy, if anybody decide to stay n wait for GOD to fight for him, OYO. |

Let him appoint all the ministers from the south if they will have Nigeria as the focus and work for it's development. Pious Anyim did nothing specific for the south and I don't expect Babachir David Lawal to do anything specific for only the north. |

Just mention those who have gotten their hands dirty with public funds in Nigeria, more than 80% are Southerners in sensitive posts. So they caused their misfortunes due to greed, as far as I am concerned I am only interested in a better and greater Nigeria. If you too get there tomorrow as Southerner kindly appoint your people into juicy posts |

I am a pro pdp supporter but for now I don't see anything bad in buhari appointments .there are still many more appointments to be made in the coming months .what should be paramount to us now should be the revival of Nigeria and one thing we need to understand is that even if buhari performs that doesn't mean Apc can't or won't lose in 2019. To be honest a lot is been done within all parastatals and ministries and it seems buhari wants to build a system which will make his ministers and also act as check and balances on them. Before we can start criticizing buhari we should wait for the full list of all his appointees before reaching a conclusion. But whether he chooses all his officials from the north or south the most important thing should be our nation development. What is the essence of appointing someone based on tribal sentiments when there are other capable hands from other parts. |
