A Wireless Technology Network....... Radio Technology by ElectGINeer(m): 10:35am On Aug 28, 2015
I Have presently been researching radio technology, I've been searching for a method to make wireless energy possible. through my searching I Have come with a theory that could make a type of "wireless power device" which could be used much like a wireless internet router to supply a healthy amount of wirless energy into an area the size of a room or house. The Idea works works like a microwave oven, which involves reflecting the microwaves in a "mirror box configuration" in-order to "enclose" the waves and concentrate them inside the box. My Idea Is similar to A microwave oven in that respect. My Idea involves painting the interior of a room/house with a conductive paint and have a powerful radio transmitter somewhere inside the room/house throwing out large amounts of radio energy, the radio waves should be mostly trapped inside the house, the paint on all the walls, floors and ceiling acting like a Faraday cage allowing the most of the radio energy to be trapped and concentrated in a small area. The high powered radio waves can be used by devices like computers, cellphones, tvs and other utilities to supply electrical energy witlessly by inducing a current into an antenna. Imagine this being your house. You could imagine the whole house being coated with conductive ink, it's everywhere, on the ceiling under the floors and on every inch of the walls, heck you might even be able to coat the windows with conductive indium tin oxide. you can think of this "conductive shell" much like the thermal insulation of a house. The better your house is coated in conductivity the more efficient your wireless power transfer system will work. It might even be possible to recapture some unused radio energy in a feed back loop system were some energy can be absorbed by a radio antenna and fed back-into the wireless power system. I would also like to note that making the conductive shell can be done in a variety of ways which might prove to be cheaper and more efficient at containing the radio waves in the room or house, for example during construction of a house conductive sheets of aluminum wire can be placed behind drywall or you could install conductive wallpapers made of mylar all over the place, the point is that as long as your contained inside a conductive box you should do fine, heck you could put up a conductive dome over your house and get the same effect. The safety hazards of high radio are a concern though, there can be health risks associated with being exposed to high powered radio fields but I don't know much about what will happen to a guy if he lives inside a radio-wave oven. I Want to create a system like this so that in the future all of your wireless devices can always remain powered up when inside of your house or inside a restaurant or store. That's this Idea of mine in a nut shell, what are your thoughts on this Idea, do you think it could work because of the health hazardous. Teempakguy, Robinhez, Dekatron, Johnydon22, Acorntree,

As at now, this Technology is still developing, and it is only being used in test-charging mobile phones.

Also note that electromagnetic radiation is hazardous. That is why people are advised not to use their phones extensively...not to talk about living in a whole Room with it..!

This guy above me is a scaredy cat.

I understand your mirrobox configuration, but what and where is the source?

so you are here.
Radio waves are not that dangerous at all. They behave very similarly to light. Having very little energy. They are not microwaves. undecided
If he finds a way to avoid constructive interference which could increase the intensity to life threatening levels, I'd say we can build this.
Now stop being such a pessimist. angry I thought we we're all scientists? sad

Radio-waves and Microwaves are in the same category; Non-ionizing waves

And one hazard from such waves is that it could lead to burns in the tissues as they incite thermal energy.

That is the point man, but I think one can set the aerial that will produce the wave in a directional manner.
So that the appliance to be charged with be in a millimeter range to the field.

Teempakguy, Robinhez, Dekatron, Johnydon22, Acorntree,

i think ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION IS THE BACKBONE OF WIRELESS ENERGY.

THAT MEANS METALS IN THE ROOM WOULD BE AFFECT.

I THINK THIS MIGHT BE COMPLEX FAR THAN NORMAL IF IT WOULD WORK. ALBEIT, LEMME READ AGAIN

yes yes. High intensities l which is what I'm trying to tell you. If he can find a way to decrease the intensity or the frequency, he can avoid that problem.
On the other hand, he can resort to a condensed Beam system. Where all the exchange take place inside the wall. If they can be made to act as optic fibres.

Soldier! Your job is to find ways around problems. Not build them foundation and decking. tongue tongue

Reducing the intensity and frequency will lead to a reduction in whatever he hopes to achieve, so what's the point?
Worst still is enclosing the waves in a system, as the plan is for me to sit anywhere in the house and have my phone charging right?
There are some things we shouldn't even be considering now, we have inductive charging, that is feasible enough while we wait for advancement in this field.
And besides, I read that charging with Radio waves is going to be so slow...! tongue

When I was in the university then 200level, one day one of the guy, a computer scientist said why the need of light sockets, that even can't we just come inside the room(we, yes... We have a room called thinking room and we selected guys, we think or generate ideas and find how to execute it.) and our phones, laptops, rechargeable lantern etc would automatically start charging...

Our best answer was from the Physists and Elect Elect guys was Electricmagnetic Induction method, finding a way to harness it. I don't want to tell the extend we went...

Fast Forward when in 300level final exams, one morning me and one of the guy heard in d radio of how in china they have developed wireless charging (all these smartphones were not being used then self).
The company is still undergoing various testing to know the health hazards and how to ascertain it pass the health/saftey regulations. All the user have to do is to enter a place they have the wireless hotspot zone(the equipment would be mounted in the place) and automatically their device start charging.

Me and the guy almost crazy because we have even gone as far as involving some food lectures and money have being spent in looking for materials.

We need research facilities/centres in nigeria in various zone and not just the centre but a working and equipments fully centre in nigeria, people have ideas but no information or where to go and you know thoughts flows in a ream which anybody can still have/tap/steal that same thought and you know they have the rest...

Yes radio wave are not harmful so we learnt in college but I tell you except you have an electromagnetic eliminator on you to cancel it from hitting you, you are reducing your brain power little by little with out knowing...
We all are all transmitter and receiver of frequency through the brain, the better brain power you have the more the intensity of the signal you transmit/receive...

These electromagnetic waves from your phone's, laptops, installed electric wires, even natural earth radiation etc, have a being experimented and found that they have tremendous effect on the brain very even if the effect is negligible to other parts of the body...

For the work, just have to try another means, I mean thinking outside the box not the microwave method, I think what a colleague said about channelling it to particular direction instead of the full room is better...

so you want to cage yourself in a sea of electromagnetic radiation grin let's not forget current will also be induced mostly where it isn't wanted.at the end most of its energy will be wasted rendering it infeasible.

your last point there is quite . . . what's the word now . . . interesting?

I totally vote for wires over non-localized radiation. Efficiency at risk.

BTW, no hard feelings from our earlier clash. wink I was a bit cranky then.
Re: A Wireless Technology Network....... Radio Technology by saintneo(m): 3:40am On Sep 03, 2015
A good idea but most times safety will be very important.

Another wireless idea
Magnets can be used to transfer electricity by induction. This is similar to induction cookers; however, it will be magnet based. Currently being developed. Read the basics here.

no problem, that's the religion section grin.electromagnetic waves can not even be trapped for long like he is saying.considering that you can't have a perfect reflector and given the speed of light and distance of the room there will be millions of reflections every second and on each reflection a percentage of its energy will be lost, however minute this loss may be within microseconds most of the energy of the wave will be gone.

Can we share Ideas on how to beat the health hazard, how to avoid energy loss and to increase its efficiency.
