such study is telling us what we already know or supposed to know. If you continue binge drinking on daily bases, it will rub you of your happiness thus making you miserable. Same with every other sphere of our daily activities. The more one endulge in a particular thing, the less exciting it becomes.

In the case of partners, aside from newly wedded couples, the urge and fantasies of sex naturally gets low especially knowing fully well that your partner is always available for sex. I normally deprive myself of sex for days or weeks so that sexual urge will rekindle itself in mind.

When i was a teenager, i fantasize and masturbate pretty much due to lack of sex partner. But now in my early thirties, i tend to care less and fantasize less about sex because of its huge availability.

So the study is good but does make more or less exciting to me.
