@Chinwedym and @Anak123, methinks with a Last menstrual period of 4th of July,it's exactly 8weeks now. I was able to see my foetuses at 8weeks. Luth is at Idi Araba, not Ikeja. It's Lagos state University teaching hospital(popularly called Ikeja general hospital in the past) that is at Ikeja in Ayinke house. It's opposite conoil filling station that is close to that bridge at Ikeja that leads straight to the airport. That is if you want to use a govt hospital.

I'm not so sure about private hospitals around there. Really depends on if u want govt/private and your budget. I've heard a lot about Mother and Child(private) at Adeniyi Jones though.

The hardness really needs to be checked out @Anak123.

If ur doc is sure u hv malaria from a lab result and nt based on assumption or presenting complaints cos there r tyms u rily feel sick and it's all preg hormones raging then I believe and know dat there r drugs he can use for u @ dis early stage that won't affect d baby cos malaria in pregnancy is nt a gud tin.. if u don't trust the doc or u tink he's incompetent pls do change hosp

Thanks it's from the test carried out this morning. The doctor said it's two way, he couldn't ascertain my baby would be fine so I just refused treatment.

trust me if u have malaria u better treat it.... Mayb u shld read up malaria in pregnancy and the problems associated with it

The only safe malaria drug in first trimester is quinine. Low dose quinine 300mg can be used though 600mg is the recommended dose. Many doctors don't use 600mg cos quinine can abort at high dose(higher than 600mg ooo). Let your doctor write quinine for u. Malaria in preg isn't good can lead to miscarriage or low birth weight babies. All the best

I use a private US centre, they have specialist oby/gyn, depending on ur location anyone could be ok,

Just to add to what other mamas have said.
1.Avoid using any kind of soap or feminine wash. Use water to wash ( and no, it's not going to smell . Stopped using feminine wash when the dryness was too much and it helped)
2.Get a lube e.g KY jelly.
3. Initiate kpekus sometimes it lets you direct the flow of things plus you go don dey plan am since morning so your mind go dey there.

It changes ur mind set about delivery... It's hard to believe there can b delivery without pain, or pregnancy without MS and mood swings. But this book will open ur eyes mind and understanding.... Build ur faith with scriptures and testimonies.... Omg it's just an amazing booook. it's worth every penny

Where are you located at the moment?
Do you have relatives near by?
Wouldn't it be "safer" to move in with one of them?
How about going to the village? I'm suggesting this beause my dad is poorly in health and my mum would not be able to come down to Lagos alone to do my omugwo so I'm traveling down to Imo state before my due date.

Lastly how about your local church? Have you asked anyone there?

If not that you are almost due nwannem id say come to Imo state with me! I've got loads of aunties waiting for me to arrive to tend to me and I'm certain 2 mums and 2 babies wouldn't be too much for them to care for! Seriously praying you find the help you need sister.

One more suggestion post your request in the ttc thread maybe one mama may take you in, hoping to use you as a point of contact to God? Remember that man in the bible that unknowingly took in angels and cuz of that his household was delivered ?

I hope my suggestions doesn't sound lame to you if not that I'm traveling soon I'll just invite you to my house at no charge.

I've been fighting a battle with myself to just waka pass cos the Orekoya Nanny OLX situation has thoroughly demonised online childcare/homecare situation. That evil woman through her heinous act has closed the door on a lot of potentially great relationships.

If it had been prior to that, you'd have gotten a place in a snap but people are more cautious & wary this day... but an adage in my place says when we close our eyes to make sure our sight does not fall on bad people, when the good ones are walking by, we might miss them, so we will try and see a way to help as an e family...

Most likely its gonna be financial...
