When Ibos held power in Jonathan's administration they acted as the pillars of the government and were instrumental in discriminativr practices against other regions of this nation....particularly against the West.

Point of note.....the last SGF was an Ibo, Pius Anyim Pius. So why are Ibos upset that they were not retutned to the position? Should SGF not go to other regions?

Ibos swore they would never serve under a certificateless almajiri illiterate. So why are they upset that the illiterate cow herder does not invite them into service?

Understand Dis today, Igbos are not upset.

Tanko Yakasai and Yerima Shettima are well-known GEJ supporters. They are never representing the north. They used AYCF and others to get their share of d national cake during GEJ.They are just expressing their selfish interests not the interest of the Nigerian masses who voted for change.Tanko Yakasai promised GEJ 2m votes yet he couldnt deliver his polling unit.It is very rare you see a Pro-GEJ like Tanko Yakasai appreciating the efforts of PMB.

Then why did Jonathan lose?
If majority of Nigerians were behind Jonathan, no amount of rigging would remove him... grin

For starters, consider this a privilege replying you. I hate doing back and forth moreso with one who isn't grounded logically.

Your post I quoted wasn't discussing reasons why Jonathan conceded defeat or "lost" as you put it. I expect you to follow simple logic, not digress into something totally irrelevant and unconnected to the post discussed.

I think PMB is only trying to work with the people he knew would help him deliver his goals and aspiration for this country.....

Goodluck is being critisized today as a weakling and a failure not because he was bad or tyrannical but because of what some set of people (Madueke, iweala,oduah,orubebe,kuku,oritsejafor..etc) he worked with caused him...Please let us give this man every benefit of doubt that all these appointments he has made (and would still make) are all with good motives.

I guess he will also work his idiotic magic of goals and aspiration for this zoo called Nigeria through the coffers from northern region of Nigeria. Did you ever research how the Daura Dumbass joined the armed forces of Nigeria?

A precedence has been set with these appointments. And for all those who see nothing wrong with the lopsided appointments and who bask on the euphoria of 'competency' should not complain when the next president decides to choose members of his office from his family or a state government picking his commissioners from a particular local government area.

We shouldn't allow our hatred for something or someone becloud us.

His recent appointment is perceived as an attack and a declaration of regional bastardisation to the South.
Mr Tim, shouldn't it be prudent for us to wait and see PMB make all his appointment before we start judging him of being tribalistic?.

Walahi talahi, this is one thing I have been waiting to hear, and you're the one sensible enough to say it. How many appointments have been made? How many are left? Then, what's the fuss all about? undecided

J. Mohammed is a shameless man. Has it gotten to this stage? His utterances are so pedestrian! To add to it he is a graduate! I wonder which school produced him? Just like Alhaji Tanko pointed, he is parochial.

Dominate!!!!! keep deceiving ur self.

The normal statement made about GEJs administration is that ""He surrounded himself with northerners"".

I have always said that Buhari is best president for the Northern Nigeria, but unfortunately Nigeria is not comprised of just the North.
Meanwhile the igbos should be prepared for the worst, may be it will turn out to be a blessing in disguise igbos are the most un united section of the country politically, I hope they will put their acts togather and begin to speak and act with one voice.

The fact remains that Buhari engages in provincialism and tribalism. That's what his actions have proved!
Like every sane person, I mostly believe in what I see than mere personal opinions.

Igbo bone shall one day get stuck in your throat.

Anyim and Okonjo Iwealla were the Igbos of note in Jonathan government. Yet the evil against one Nigeria in some of you make you make devilish anti-Igbo statements like the above.

At the bolder, you can say that again and again. Imagine a compound of 16 apartments, all with generators, I need not tell you what we face daily. But since May 29, it's been a nice change all the way.

Let us exercise patience....It may not be as bad as it looks.

Most important thing is for the appointees to get the job done. Nigeria shall be great again
While this may seem credible to do, it's starting to appear its the same pattern repeating itself. Are we saying competent folks are lacking in other regions of the country? I think there is some hidden agenda when key positions are being allocated to the same region of the country.

Buhari frustrating politicians since 1983. Funniest part of it is, Mr. President doesn't care about what they say. He's only interested in competent peeps and not in what politicians think about his appointments. In one hand, I'm happy that once again, we have a president who can stand on his own and doesn't give a hoot about politics and satisfying anyone. On the other hand, tho Buhari's appointments are commendable, he should look @ other sections of the country. Buhari be like: na una own una dey talk. My own is to put Nigeria on track and return to my beloved Daura farm in 2019
thank u my broda people are concern about there belly let dem die if dey want to die what am after is a better nigeria, if Mr president like let him appoint all northerners as ministers as far as his motive is to promote our dear country let him go ahead Nigerian has been in d dark for too long and some bastard will stand up fighting for position some of these people deserve death by hanging and yet they are still shouting for appointment to hell with dem all, just how many month now we are witnessing change around d country, before I go to office in d morning I use light and when I return light is available it been long I start generator so what re we saying, look at civil servant now they all resume early no more coming 11oclok or sign nd go back om stupid set of people.

Na Ojuyobo dey gain so far as long as he wins and have his pocket full - no problem...
He has FIRS (Long before the election results were released, one of my chairmen who happens to own an accounting firm told us this was part of the negotiations for the support and the spoils of office and today - it has happened)...

He has his key men in the house and senate...

Life is truly good. I pity all those supporting and shouting themselves hoarse on their expectations from PMB. He's simply displaying his heart and where his treasures lie..
