i don't say a girl is not a child. They are equally great. But let us look at it from biblical perspective. God embraces a male child over female in many aspect. In becoming priest, prophets, in headship, kings, topic etc. Haven't u observe that anytime God promises a barren person child in the Bible, the child often come out to be male. Non of Jesus' disciple was a female. A male is so much higher than female even in the spritual realm. That y ladies were asked to cover their heads in the church in respect for the men. God respects everyone. He calls women weaker vessels and expects them to be loved and cared for. Perhaps that's mostly why all those responsibilities fell on the male shoulders. And to the male who are taking these responsibilities he expects them to be respected by the people they are caring for.
Jesus disciples went through a whole lot in preaching the good news,do you really think that women would be able to go through that? The same thing applies to the kids promised,their lineage traditionally just as most cultures began from the male family side and God wants those children to reproduce for their family,if he had made them women,wouldn't they be married off?God care and pampers them,cos no matter how strong a woman appears to be,she is weak inside and God knows that more than anyone else. Instead he made them to assist and do the lesser jobs. Females as well as males will Go to heaven and the women will be pampered even more.
You don't how weak a woman can be,God does!
