firsttymum: I used the office at Houston, 6306 Gulfton Street. I can't remember the exact location of others, if you check on dat paper he emails, you will find all the addresses. Your place of residence will determine d office closest to you. |

i got in to Us via New York JFK to Charlotte in June it was not as easy as people say it here oh as I was delayed for almost an hour but they eventually let me in after seeing all my burden of proof.I got a package from the hospital for 5715 normal delivery, 8730 for CS , but doing labour after getting to 7cm baby heart beat was dropping, the doctor just said he can not risk it that they have to remove the baby Omo Na so I start to cry oh ,but within 5mins they remove my little prince,na so them term her as complicated delivery oh and said I was not eligible for the package again.my dear I got a very huge bill from the hospital for 21567 after begging they gave 30% to make it 15062 just for me and epidural 2990 and 50% discount was given, doctor bill 2480 and baby bill 3400 discount of 30% to make it 2404'pediatric is 1640 with 25%discount, pathology 285 for both me and baby, trying to pay all the little bills and do a payment plan for my self.My point is no matter how ur host is close to you don't listen to them follow ur heart if I had known I would have ported to Houston, elpaso,Atlanta or Chicago but I stayed back in Charlotte listening to my host now am paying all the bills myself she no even answer me.I have learnt my lesson I pray God see me through this gbese. Pele dear, from my calculation your final bills after all the discounts came to approximatly like $23,000, JESU!!!!!!!!!!!. I nor envy you at all o. I pray that the almighty God would provides resources for you to settle these outrageous bills 3 Likes |

Hi hi. If you wish to drive over there. .I'd say firsst of make sure u got the ORIGINAL (BIOMETRICS CAPTURED) NAIJA DRIVER'S LICENSE. then get a VIO officer to process int'l drivers license for u (it takes about 7 working days - just ur passport photo n details). Have the two, however u ll notice that they mostly refer to ur national drivers license so it's better u have them both because the int'l license doesn't really have much of ur info printed on it. firsttymum: |

Lol. .. If u are driving there I'd say after u got ur license in the checks. Kindly go and download "HERE MAPS" on your device. Make sure your location setting is "on". Now while you are in naija. .goto "download maps" on the app them download naija map. ..also download the state(s) u are gonna be visiting (make sure to download routes n navigation own ooh) so that your route and voice navigation is available even without ur phone having data. ..just have d phone roaming or connected to dia network. ..don't worry ur credits is safe. Try using the app to navigate your way around your area here in naija to get acquainted with it. While using it. .u can save locations by simply getting the address n zip code. .pasting it in the search bar of the map app and saving it as collection. .. Then when u wanna roll. .simply select the collected point and cruise. The app is very useful in that it helps u guide even against beating the speed limits and when ur phone is online. ..give u real time traffic info so that you can re-route and save precious time. ... I trust u love ur goggle so this will be easier for ya. ... Driving is more economical mostly when you wan do plenty yahoo waka n highly convenient. .. firsttymum: 1 Like |

[quote author=ewa2014 post=37445258]Thought to update the house on my documentation experience. What I learnt however is do NOT just accept whatever u r told and go to sleep while trying to get your baby's documents, almost everything can be expedited. After I gave birth, I filled the BC form and Was under the impression that I would get it in a few days... Only to be told it would take btw a month to 6 weeks... I told them it's impossible that I needed it asap cos I have to process documents and go back to my country... I called the hospital everyday and they referred me to the county and I called them severally too, to cut the long story short, I got my BC in less than a week. Next was Naija passport, filled d form n bought the money order, once I linked the money order to my application, I din't wait for innovates confirmation(which came 2 days later BTW), I called Naija embassy and was told to come with what I had, got there at 12noon and got the passport at 3pm. I dint tip anyone or pay Wow. Good. Pls u have to fill all of this on line for both passport before booking appointment? and pls the part of address, do u fill your US address or nija address. Thks |

Hi hi. ...yes it is. I don't know if the HERE MAPS App is available for iPhone. .search for it. ..I'm using it on android phone. However if u don't find it. Download MAPS.ME app....it's an offline map. ..same process applies. .. Don't put any hope on ur google nor iPhone default map ooh. Those things are junk n useless once u are disconnected from data. They ll get u lost in the middle of traffic labyrinth. .. Plus collecting addresses offline is another ball game entirely. firsttymum: 1 Like |
