Hello ladies and gentlemen, this thread is to formally launch our estate acquisition and construction activities in our first location in Imo state. We are spreading our tentacles by setting up estates in more states across the nation.
WHAT IS THE MISSION OF TIGERKENN HOMES?
Tigerkenn Homes Ltd is a fast growing real estate development company incorporated in 2014, the company is registered by law to carry out estate development and building activities in Nigeria. At Tigerkenn homes, we have an unshakeable belief that integrity is the most important virtue, and we conduct our businesses in the most transparent manner possible. WHY OWERRI?
Owerri is a city in south east Nigeria, peopled by a large population of young, educated professionals who knows what it means to own and maintain luxury homes. The city is littered with some of the best architecture in the country, there are also some world class estates in parts of Owerri, World Bank housing estate is one of the most spacious, planned estates in the country. The location we are planning to acquire in Owerri is very near to the city, just 10 minutes drive away from the reputed World Bank housing estate or the state housing estate at Umuguma, Owerri.

WHAT IS THE SELLING POINTS?
We at Tigerkenn Homes Ltd understand what good planning means to home ownership. The plan we plan to put in place will ensure that this estate is well planned from the beginning, ensuring that good access roads are provided for, fenced and gated community, security guards, drainage, reservations for shops, play ground and other estate facilities, proper rules guiding all buyers, well managed environment, etc.

WHAT WILL BE THE PLOT SIZES?
While we understand the need for bigger plots, so that we can all build our future mansions with enough spaces to spare, we also understand the size/price dynamics, and the fact that some people may want to go for smaller plots, especially those outside the country, or those with very young families. So we have a plan to have at least two major plot sizes, I am proposing some plots to be 100x100, while smaller plots will be 50x100, at a reduced price.
INFORMATION ABOUT PLOT ARRANGEMENT, TYPES OF BUILDINGS TO BE ERECTED, PRICE AND OTHER CONDITIONS WILL BE ADDED AS WE MOVE ALONG.

At Tigerkenn Homes, we pride ourselves with the depth of our research, we don't just walk into a location and buy plots, we do a whole lopt of background checks, starting from the government, to the locals, every little piece of information matters.

We walked, we rode bikes, we drove tricycles and cars into many locations around Irete, Owerri. From what I could find out, this is a fast developing area, close to the state capita and yet with a very good, table land. We can turn this place into a goldmine in a few years time.

This area is a virgin land, never been surveyed or measured, but I am talking with the owners and might pay an advance money so we can get into the land. My surveyor is waiting to take the land apart, divide it into plots and we can then move in and develop.

I will still measure the distance to Orlu, but this location is just 10 minutes from Control, there is other planned roads that will make this location nearer, though Umuguma to the Port Harcourt express road.

There is a company called Livelihood homes that has been advertising Blue Sea estate, Irete Owerri on radio. Is yours in the same Irete axis with theirs.

Yes, I know the company and they are here in Irete. Their piece of land is not too far from where I want to acquire. They are also my close neighbors at Ogbeke Nike, Enugu.

How far is this site to/from Orlu?

30 to 50 minutes depending on the route and traffic/ road condition . Orlu-umuaka-Ohi-Irete route should be like 35 minutes while Orlu-Mgbidi-irete route should be about 40 minutes.

I have thought of that, I even looked at Avu, Mgbirichi, etc. But what I loved about Irete is the possibility of an alternative entry/exit point. This is because Irete has the advantage of being connected to the Port Harcourt express through Umuguma (the track road already exists, graded by Rochas last year or so) plus this existing connection to Onitsha-Owerri express.

I had a terrible very terrible experience buying a piece of land in Umuahia last year. I am yet to recover from that not-so-good experience. Thoughts of getting a property now is so not in my list. Thank you all the same.
